Unfortunately, there is too much ignorance in various studios where the principals are poorly instructed and demonstrated, leading to potential injuries and lack of correct knowledge in clients. I just sat through 5 minutes of a Reformer Demo by someone who clearly stands at the opposite end of the Pilates spectrum from you... the make-it-up-as-you-go end...
