As a avid hunter and outdoorsman I really appreciate your videos. I've watched some other channels like yours and they all have the same thing. Almost like they copy each other lol. You however are always putting new,usefull and ingeneous things in your videos that give me loads of ideas. Keep up the good work!
Got your workout on this video. I have a Ribz on the way but not sure if you knew there is a totally new Ribz being released next month to replace the existing one
Well done Sean you really have taken this whole You tube business seriously, and its brilliant to see the graphics on the motor that is awesome. Good on you buddy you are great at this!!!!!
Did you write your name on your car, in case you forget? About the RIBZ, that looks like it could actually help, by using it as a counter-weight. Do you think if you placed a couple of litres of water on there (maybe tied seperately, on the very front) you might increase the spread even more? I presume you walk with roughly 40 kilos? Fantastic scenery by the way, beautiful.
Looks like it works out nicely. Thanks for the trek, love the views. Just getting into this pathfinder stuff so it is nice to see what people are using for gear and how they make them multipurpose items. You will have to check to see how water repellent and water proof it is.
well done. I am still loving my ribz. I like it for day hikes (main pack) and long hikes (additional pack). I am a huge fan of wearing it in addition to a rucksack so that you can keep the items that you might need more readily during the trek. Beautiful country out there!
@seanmulhall I was given the Sabrecat for Xmas but haven't had a chance to use it yet as leg is in plaster. I'm guessing you like these 2 as a combination but my question is, do you feel a yoke is a good option for the Sabrecat? If so, I'll get a low profile version to go under the Ribz I think as I've fancied these since Cr0cket20 reviewed them.
@oldhairpin For longer walks and to load the Sabercat fully I would say the yoke is a must. I found with the single shoulder strap that I got fatigue in the shoulder.
Sean does this pack allow for adding items on the outside or the back.

It looks like a cool day - do you think the RIBZ might make you too hot during the warmer summer hikes?

Hi mate. Did you have any problems with the zipper issue that you mentioned ?

@RDPproject
Yes it does wriggle down the first inch. I will be adding a small snap clip to prevent that.

Good stuff Sean, especially like the idea of the counter-weight action. I can see it being a benefit on longer hikes.

Looks like a very stable system. How's the heat build up so far? Might be hard to tell in the colder months.

Only thing I think it would cause problems with is going prone, but unless you're in a combat situation you shouldn't have to do that.
