  • yeah, i was conceived at this concert

  • Exactly 15 days after this concert, my mom went to see them live in Montreal while I was in her stomach. Epic.

  • lol Backup guitarist got no love. Turn your volume up dude!

  • I like the Video...still sexy, still playing good!

  • is that dave grohl on drums, or just someone who looks like him?

  • jimmy page > chuck norris

  • very poor bass .. :(

  • Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend

    Robert Plant & Jimmy Page

    Bon Scott & Angus Young

    Roger Waters & David Gilmour

    Mick Jagger & Keith Richards

Haven't realized how many great singer-guitarist duos there have been. God bless classic rock...

  • @DBJetsman Steven Tyler & Joe Perry ??

  • also:

    Luz Interior & Poison Ivy

    David Johansen & Johnny Thunders

    :)

  • What do their symbols mean??

  • The year i was bornth people. Oooooooo yeah!

  • The finish on that guitar is so sexy

  • SLOW DOWN ROBERT!!!

  • they obvioulsy dont sound as good without bonham that goes without saying, but john paul jones what the hell, him and bonham where dynamite together, what a couple of dicks not giving jonsey his due.

  • Michael Lee,what a drummer.RIP Bro.

  • sempre meravigliosi!

  • whats up with filming this bald guy and not the stars

  • i have 2 passions in my life : Led Zep and The Lord of the Rings....this song is just awesome !

  • I think this is a goodbye in a way. I know they both J&R were the top of the pop for bit, Jonesy wasnt really into the popular gig at the time. I think its so sweet

  • No one can say that any of the band members were better than the others. Jimmy Page formed the band, composed a majority of their songs, and did a kick-ass job of being their guitarist. Robert Plant had his unique voice and style that was irreplaceable. John Paul Jones was a brilliant composer, pianist, keyboarist, sound-effect man, and of course, bassist. John Bonham was in my opinion the greatest drummer of all time. They're all four equally great members. They said so themselves.

  • 7 people didnt dont ramble

  • I think these guys were once in the The Led Zeppelins

  • @lob287 Lololol :)

  • @lob287 haha

  • @bill4long I appreciate the fact that you recognized this as being just a stupid joke. It's amazing how many people get so angry and reply with with foul laguage and threats.

  • @lob287 well, I'm Zep's "biggest fan" and I though it was laff-out-loud funny :)

  • @lob287 are you idiot?

  • @BluesZeppRO They wern't? I thought they were

  • hahaha... i was 1 year old then....!!!!!!!!

  • Led Zep forever and ever!!!!

  • This was played in the year i was born, I hope these guys play one last time when my kid is born :D

  • What is and what will never be. Robert is still the man with the words and moves. We all grow older and it will never be 1970's again.

  • He is alot older in this video idiots. He is going to sound alot different from when he was in his 20's than in his 50's. Plus all the concerts and how much he has used those pipes. All that considered I think he sounds DAMN GOOD. You try performing as much as Plant has in his career and try to sound as good when you were in your 20's. Not GONNA HAPPEN. So shut the hell up, listen and be grateful that they are still alive and able to perform, all you ungrateful BASTERDS!!!!

  • @tomglavinehof1 perhaps some anger management therapy is in order

  • @bill4long Yes it is indeed.

  • I love everything of LED ZEPPELIN.

  • jones, should've been put on this tour,

but maybe they didnt wanna be led zeppelin, you never know.

i like to see zeppelin as an equal. without any member it's not zeppelin, cant be.

jones is deffinately the most underpraised.

he overdubbed pretty much all of the other intrustments besides guitar and drums, which a lot. 11 on stairway to heaven alone.

    theyre all god's

  • omg robert that was funny.... jimmy that was flawless!

  • wow terrible

  • Robert plant definetely suck on this one. damn the studio version is so much better

  • The best Led Zeppelin member is John Paul Jones. Anyone who knows music knows...

  • @PChemato dude.. im not even lying... u cant possibly think jones was the best member of zeppelin... Page definetly was

  • @Skateallcities100 Dude, jones was, all plant did was play guitar

  • @ReggieBegins ok... easy there... Robert Plant SINGS...

and Jimmy Paige is the one who plays the guitar

he did all by himself the melody of the song remains the same (plant, the singer, did the lyrics). i think its proof enough that he does more than just play the guitar.

and i might add, do you think JPJ did the whole lotta love guitar riff??

  • @PChemato aand why? as far as I know all LED ZEP members are all fucking great musicians..

  • @PChemato idk about that man. sure he had the most musical chops. but what would Zepp be with out Plants vocals? or bonhams drums or... JIMMY FUCKIN PAGE.

  • @PChemato well I'm gonna have to disagree. Jimmy Page is an excellent guitar player, who also played some other stringed instruments, and he did a really fantastic job of mixing and producing their albums.

  • @PChemato can you explain me why please?

  • Plant performed this at the Band of Joy concert last night...far far superior to this version

  • whats the matter with plants voice ? i mean seriously.

  • The Four Quarters live era in 1995 was THEIR FINEST HOUR ! ! ! !

  • Is this the '95 tour? I thought Porl Thompson (the bald guy from The Cure) is on the '94 tour. What gives?

  • damn... i wish zeppelin played this live back in their prime. robert plants voice is not so good in this performance isn't so good here. it makes me a little sad seeing him sing this...

  • I think he is the wonderful seed of those wonderful artist :-)

  • He sounds like me trying to hit those hight notes. of well.. thats what you get for writing such hard sounds to sing live, twenty years later.

  • I'm jonesin' for Jonesy...

  • magic men : PAGE and PLANT born to play together for ever...

  • lol when he trys going high like when he says ramble on or sing my song he totally fucks up lol like hes hitting puberty lol PLANT ROCKS!!

  • @kingkonaha Vocal nodules

  • I would do anything to be able to see Led Zepp live! I swear Anything!! Led Zeppelin is totally awesome! Best band ever!!!

  • there was a diliberate move of not using or even asking JPJ to perform with them.

I wonder why? what was their mindset..i know at the RRHF Jonesy made a deliberate remark about them not ringing him up and what did they lose his ph # somethg to that effect..he had every right to be pissed off. he was a great contribution to this great unit and he seemed very low maintenence..i never heard

any stories of him causing any trouble..what was the story here no jones??

  • @MOSKII58 RP claims that they didnt mean to but wtf? I agree with you JPJ is the most under rated member of the band. When they played concerts plant & page got almost all of the attention from the lame-ass cameraman, then some of the great John Bonham and footage of JPJ is almost non-existant. Whether he was playing bass, the mandolin or the key board his performance sounded awesome.

  • @aeoniczeppfan yes I agree with you , JPJ was the glue in this band , and very underrated !!!!!

  • @MOSKII58 Lol, and Jonesy is the only one left that can still play!

  • @MOSKII58 do you know why hes not here? maybe because page and plant wanted to do ther own stuff

  • @MOSKII58 when you get as big as led zeppelin peoples egos start playing up

  • @MOSKII58 They didn't want to be touring as Led Zeppelin after Bonzo's death. Page and Plant just did this tour because of the album they had around that time. That's really it.

  • @ZeBrawler123 i can almost understand that.....- the lp i was not aware of, but didn't you see & hear how JPJ was feeling slighted? but you are prob at least partially right..

  • @MOSKII58 I'm sure he understood; I think he knew they wanted to do some stuff themselves.

  • It's time to Ramble On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOSER.

  • robert plants singing is weak

  • @jukeboxhero844 you dont expect him to be at his peak when he's over 40

  • Robert's lost the high notes...but Zep will always be amazing!!. Anyone who doesn't know that is deaf.

  • @lemonjeww Why don't you grab a bottle of KY and a Zep album and get a room you cunt!

  • Greatest band of ALL TIME....bar none. Live or NOT. No one could ever put on a live performance like Zeppelin. Without question the best I've ever seen.

  • Zeppelin was fucking legendary live! I have many bootlegs and shows to prove it..

  • Comment removed

  • @lemonjeww Now!!? you get back to me now!?? Dude Led Zeppelin sucked live!!! They are notorius for putting people to sleep!(crowds)!! Besides Grand Funk Railroad Blew them off the stage!!!!! Soooooo bad that Peter grant had people tell Grand Funk to cut their set short!!! Fuck Zep!!!

  • @yabbazabba1234 Led zeppelin was a Blues/Jazz/rock band...they are ment to play each son diferent.."How they feel" in that precise moment.

  • @yabbazabba1234 dude, cut him some slack its not the 70's anymore

  • @yabbazabba1234 good job holding the shift button. people pay assloads of money to see them play this way. if they wanted the album version, theyd listen to the album

  • @dartvader117 they are majic...always have been and always will be.....oh my god....majic, majic, majic....so soft and lyrical.......just keep rambling guys....no one can come anywhere near you....

  • @yabbazabba1234 hahaha you LOVE RUSH???? i s'pose ur also one of those people who think Kiss are a rock band and that theres no cheesy lameness in motley crue??

  • @MayonaiseKing100 NO!! I think Gene Simmons is a joke on Bass!!! Also!!!... LED ZEPPELIN SUCKED LIVE AFTER THEIR FIRST ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And who gives a shit about motley crue ????!!! ..

  • @yabbazabba1234 u said u liked Rush, so i just assumed that u were a cheesy, lame rock guy. but as long as ur not into iron maiden and bon jovi, ur entitled to ur opinion.

  • @MayonaiseKing100 What's wrong with Rush? How can you associate Rush with Kiss? Rush is actually talented, Kiss is not.

  • what's the name of the bassist? I know him, but I can't remember his name >.<

  • @radiohm3 John Paul Jones!

  • @SchnitzelMIC No! That's not JPJ it's another dude

  • @radiohm3 its john paul jones

  • @dartvader117 Definitely not John Paul Jones

  • @musicmann1967 oh, youre referring to the one in this video. yeah no, i havent got a clue

  • Great butchering job with those plant vocal adlibs and pages rough guitar tone. They never fail to wreck their songs live. Good going! People paid to hear that crap!

  • I was 2 maybe 3

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was one when this happened

  • Percy is unbelievably sexy. :p Damn! I need (even) more Led Zep!

  • wasted on that audience

  • @muthalica that's cause it's not. He died in '86 dumbass

  • @metalika64

That would be JOHN Bonham and he died in sep -80 not 86 , who's the dumbass now ?... and jason is john's son who plays/ed drums for Zep / Foreigner /UFO

  • @metalika64 errr John Bonham died, not Jason. who's the dumbass again???

  • @metalika64 haha. man... thats got to be pretty embarrassing for you.

  • Eeesh what happened to Plant's voice? Doesn't hardly sound like him

  • @MastaChief117

Kind of a second puberty (midlife) voice break. Or just cigarettes and alcohol.

  • is that Jason Bonham on drums? it doesn't look anything like him..and in my opinion doesn't sound much like him..

  • JIMMY PAGE!! WHOOT WHOOT!

  • Love this clip - miss Bonham on drums - he's irreplaceable... We need a world tour 2012 get Plant in _ heavy times ahead humanity will need it :)

  • @GTDUBAI

How about John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Dave Grohl on the drums. You are right about Bonham, not even his son can replace him.

  • love robert plant... everything about him... his voice his looks his presence

  • 1:10 his voice just cracks hahaha

  • @BobbyDuwitz epic robert plant fail.

  • this group STOLE MUSIC FROM their opening bands!!! i have no respect for them. its over. their music is over. their music was stolen. no respect for those types.

  • @lovekaley1 its difficult being jealous hugh..i guess its also easy being cynical from a computer chair.

  • @lovekaley1 who dat

  • this particular song is still awesome

  • Ouch Robert can't even do Robert anymore.

  • im sure that robert , jimmy and jonh dream about a jam with bonham

  • Doesn't matter what time does to them, I still love them just the same. R.I.P John Henry Bonham. We miss you.

  • poor robert, his aging voice messed up the beauty of the chorus, still an amazing singer though

  • @Greekmustard666 It wasn't his aging. There are great singers as old as Robert who sing nearly as good now as they did then. While he isn't as famous, look up John Cowan from New Grass Revival, he is a perfect example. What messed Robert up was pushing himself too much. The forced high notes, constant touring, and probably drugs all played a huge part. Rumor has it Robert had serious vocal surgery around 1974/75, which is right around the time his voice starting cracking really bad.

  • Bonzo was the unique addition to Zeppelin, the "Keith Moon", if you will, who made the laughs. kept all in motion (and frustration), and made the "mad drummer" icon larger than life. John's loss ended Led Zeppelin and the fact the didn't reunite when expected proved that: without the four you have a triangle, not a quadrangle. And like the Who with their loss of Keith, let the best rest with which they died and enjoy their music under one name, and one name only.

  • Age got Robert Plant...

  • @BoomBoy13

and this is just a 15 years old video...

  • wow,

it seemed like he forgot half the words of the chorus

  • Is Robert Plant the love child of Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin?

  • @ReinhardtHendrix love your comment :)

  • how does one become this awsome

  • singing about Lord of the rings...Led Zepplin knew it was gonna be famous before everyone else!

  • thanks for posting this....fantastic stuff!!

  • annnd plant was STILL doing this in '95 . . . ;)

  • GOOOOOODDSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great band, (except they're missing Jonesy!) and one of my favorite songs. Thanks

    for posting this!

  • It is always great to hear different renditions of these songs..Live, studio...they are ageless!!

Regardless of who does them, as longas they stay true to form...check out YBR (Yellow Brick Road) they do some GREAT Zeppelin cover tunes!!

    Zeppelin ROCKS!!

    And superlou1s...I agree 100%!!!

    E

  • 大好きな曲でーす!

    すごいや。。

  • One of my fave Zepp tracks!

  • Plant most dynamic, talented vocals. Page best composer on guitar!

  • NICE JOB ..

  • Kinda missing JPJ... Which is a shame.

    Still f-ing excellent!

  • Its obvious that Plant is stuggling to sing the high notes in chorus

  • his voice was shot then and yet id still kill to see him (without krauss, and with strange sensation)

  • I FUCKING LOVE ZEPPELIN!!!!

  • Vision, artistic statement, emotional expression, and devotion; this is the stuff of pure music!!! All the love and blessings...

  • Vision, artistic statement, emotional expression, devotion; this is pure music!!! All the love and blessings...

  • I saw Zep 5 times between 1968 and 1975.Back then, Plant's voice would crap out big time. Page wore his guitar so low it was impossible to play good! The studio recordings were great but the performances were about the hype. There were many takes and overdubs in the studio to capture the sound I never heard live.

  • @slugovia Wow, 68-75 plant was in his prime along with page. You're on crack.

  • Really?? Seriously?? Plant can't hit the "high" notes?? He's fuxin 62 years old!!! Christ on a bike!!!

  • @misterfrigginYUCK hes 61, but in this video he was like 45

  • jimmy looks drunk

  • @added23 don't worry, he's just having a few orgasms as usual.

  • Man...Robert cant hit those high notes like he used to...every time he does his voice kinda cracks!! but man....that guy could definently sing the high notes back in tha day!!! I wish i couldve had tha chance to see zep back in there prime!!! These guyz r true legendz!!

  • Challenge for all the Zep douches---click on the studio version of this song in the column to the right---and compare.

  • @mrbrianmccarthy Stereophonic message. Not you again you broken record - you repetitive, miserable 20th century "Salieriesque" loser who is full of envy and compensates through criticism. GET THE FUCK OFF THE LINE and live in your own little shit world.

  • Zeppelin was great in their time because of the producing &Songwriting skills of Jimmy Page, the drumming of John Bonham, and yes the sound of Robert Plants vocals. But come on Zep groupies,be honest---Roberts voice had a lot of help in the studio.Since the mid 70's He never has been able to deliver live. Face facts. The guy cant sing his old tunes anymore.

  • @mrbrianmccarthy. Not you again you broken record - you repetitive, miserable 20th century "Salieriesque" loser who is full of envy and compensates through criticism. GET THE FUCK OFF THE LINE and live in your own little shit world.

  • wow Plant really lost his voice around then

  • Is that Bruce Willis or a Hare Krishna on backup guitar?
