Hehe, I'm Thom's age and back in '93 I was working in a record store (as they were still called) and nobody could've given a fuck about Radiohead - if they'd even heard of them.

The "big" bands of the day were Nirvana, Pearl Jam, U2, REM, the emerging Smashing Pumpkins and, er, Guns n' Roses.

The SONG was around and played live as early as 1992, it wasn't recorded for Pablo Honey for whatever reason and was finally released on CD in 1995 as the title track to The Bends.
