Not all that bear the name "church" are "the church." One should not attend a "church" simply because it bears the name "church" Shall a Baptist attend a Mormon "church" or not go to that church? Or vice versa? Neither would you agree to doing such a thing.
There is only one church & it is those people in whom the Spirit truly dwells. Anything else calling itself, or anyone else calling themselves "church" is not church at all. Don't go there. That's the point.
As concerning the Bible, the scriptures are very clear:
2 Timothy 3:16 (King James Version) 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
When someone says you don't need the Bible, that message should send up huge red flags of warning that they are not speaking for God. The enemy, Satan, wants people to not read the Bible.
Read the Bible daily, and trust the Holy Spirit to guide you ....
Sure, there are problems with churches ... There is no perfect church, but that doesn't mean that we should abandon the church (building, and body of believers). When a church is operating correctly, we can do the work of God together, edifying one another, helping each other to become stronger believers, teaching one another, praising the Lord together.

I listened to many of Jan Boshoff's videos. He is definitely proclaiming another gospel. He bashes the Bible, churches, Christians, but yet uses the Bible to try and support his teachings. Then he starts up a group, "Fellowship of the Saints," on Facebook! What a hypocrite Jan Boshoff is.

I hear both of you. However I am one of those who have stopped going to church,, I had been so hurt so many times, it was (for me at least) worse then being an non christian. The final straw was when the pastor tried to rape me.! Ive learnt so much by not going, things I NEVER got taught at church ever! Its not for everyone. But I would say that you really can get to know yourself and God a whole lot better without the distractions and Jesus Christ is Still LORD!

But modern church is not the way it should be done. Real church is done on the Book Of Acts model. Especially prophecy, which no church out there is preaching today. I dont know what church you attend PeaceInChrist alone, but I hope they are teaching you about the last day events that are unfolding as we speak. I still have not found one worthy of attending because they do not preach Bible prophecy truth for these last days we are living in.

Christians, bor from above spiritually, born of the Spirit, baptized and sealed by the Spirit, are the Ikklesia, the Church. Now that said, what denomination one chooses or not is secondary when your allegiance goes to Christ 1st and foremost, the aasembly or gathering of ourselves can be done in homes like the early church fathers did, accountability can be obtained when bros meet together and pray
