I was there, and I assure everyone that she sang live. The problem was that the people at Yahoo force performers to use "pitch-perfecting" microphone. She wasn't too happy with them that day.

The mic messed up a lot of the vocals in these performances.

She doesn't suck live. She has a beautiful voice and most singers live now a days lip synch like kesha ect.. This is how a normal live concert should sound like. If I'm going to pay to see a concert it's to listen to them actually sing. If u wanna hear every pitch right go buy their cd but trust me this is the best thing u could hear from a singers voice

Amy Lee is Superb Singer, it's just that her songs are really hard to sing with all these different pitches...therefore her voice can't always sustain these perfect pitches and sounds to perform these songs all the time. Nonetheless, she's an amazing.

I love what Terry did with the open door album. He brought the heavy tuned guitars sound he used with cold. Evanescence sounds much edgier. Amy + Terry = Sick music.

I agree, she is not at her best live. She needs to chill out, I know she likes to enjoy herself, and rock and stuff, but she needs to calm down and focus on singing sometimes, because she makes a mess of things live. Plus shes probably exhausted from touring all the time, she probably doesnt spend enough time practicing her vocals, and letting her throat heal.

Personally, I go to gigs to see a performance. To see the artist put on a good show and 'rock out'.

If I wanted to hear a pitch perfect replica of the original recording, I would listen to the original record. You just appreciate that she doesn't lip synch like so many singers in the industry.

AMEN!!! everyone expects an artist's performance to be "studio/cd" perfect.........what ppl need to realize those are as airbrushed as a model's photoshoots.....don't get me wrong...amy lee can sing......but their is a significant difference between brushed up studio recordings and live, but i love the way she sounds live as well
