  • Btw, if he'd be considered a "miniature Andy", then they guy riding must be very small - he makes this guy look HUGE! Lol

  • @QH1100 He was HUGE ... for a Peruvian

  • Sorry, cell iphone changed my word - that's GAITED dressage! Lol

  • There's another vid out there of a gal doing upper level dressage stuff w/ her Peruvian. Search "haired dressage".

  • I remember Playing with Dan. I miss him =,(

  • beautiful video!~

  • I always wondered why certain breeds (including this beautiful horse, of course) have 'special' gaits like that... It seems like a very tiring thing, yet it is all natural... :) 5* Great video with beautiful music!!

  • It may look "tiring" but for the horse, their gait IS natural and not tiring. They always have 3 feet on the ground and just amble along. Now as for the piaffe and passage - THAT is alot of work and takes time to develop the muscles for.

  • I see you have shoes on him (btw, he's amazing!). When I put shoes on my Peruvian mare she over-exaggerated her Termino and would come down too hard on with her front legs, almost stomping. Do you find the same thing happens with your boy? Breeder suggeseted I try aluminum shoes. What do you think?

  • Shoes are not typically recommended on Pasos and are not allowed in their shows. I choose to shod mine because I was riding extensive mileage during the week and doing AERC endurance rides. It's also difficult to find a farrier that understands how to properly shoe a special gaited horse w/ termino. Try another farrier.

  • Wow how did you manage to train him to do that? =]

  • @BarrelBabe4797 - its called "trainer from South America" haha

  • wow just love the horse BEAUTIFUL. AWESOME on the way it moves. he makes my peruvian look bad and untrained

  • Beautiful! peruvian paso, such elegance. Indeed the best breed of horse that has ever existed on this earth!!! Thank God for a country like PERU!!!

  • Excellent Rider

  • Wow, this horse had me breathless !!! He is a stunning representation of the Peruvian Paso !! Do you have a website where we could go see your breeding stock?

  • Wow! What a beautiful animal! So well trained! He is gorgeous

  • Extraordinary horse and a delight to watch. Thanks for sharing.

  • wow he is gorgeous!!!

    -excerpt-

  • wow!!

  • howd u teach v canter piruette????

  • I want to teach mine to do that too!

  • jhardy06- You can't teach your horse to pace the way a Peruvian horse do. They are borne that way, their walk is different to any other horses as you can see!. But you can always try! good luck to you!

  • peruvian paso should be one of the 7 wonders of the world too :)

  • Beautiful! I did not know Peruvian Pasos could even canter, much less change leads, much less perform dressage movements. Their versatility is broader than I thought.
