My yellow lab dug up and killed a mole when she was about 3 years old. I immediately cooked a pork steak for her.

My black lab shepherd cross does the same thing when he catches a mole scent. Digs forever and tears out chunks of grass and then gets a dirty brown face. After he's finished he looks so pleased with himself!
