Tip #13 Getting the Most out of Your Corn Cob Pipe: What's with the fingers on the bowl?

I exhale through the pipe lightly every now and then to give the bowl a little more even carbon buildup.

That way you avoid a v-shape coating inside the bowl.

@nuck81 Between this and the proper use of a tamper (meaning very light and occasional ramping) I rarely use more than one match.

What's funny is that I've never noticed it before, but as I was editing one of my recent videos I had the thought that I was starting to look a bit like him! I don;t hear it, but then again no one sounds the way they think.

That's exactly why I'm putting my fingers over the bowl while smoking my pipe. I didn't know that this method seems to be unpopular in the US...
