Obviously those shows have nothing to to do with music! I don't want to see prissy ass pregnant teenagers or a bunch of Guidos getting drunk on a beach! That ain't tv.
I know, back in the day even the cheezy shows are entertaining, and pre school shows weren't so dumbed down, I mean what happened to Seseme Street. Sure we can watch all that on DVD's, but sometimes we just don't feel like buying a DVD or even watching it. When you're at home after a long day, what do you want to do, relax and watch TV, but if TV is utter gar-bitch then what do we do.
Nowadays it is all garbage. For example, tuesday night are all those idol like programs on, all the same. Then you have Friday all the forensic shows people never watch are on. Etc. The programming on TV is not interresting anymore. It pisses me off.

The funny thing is, music its still there, but now you have to work hard to find it on the internet. My latest finds are Artic Monkeys, Jack Johnson, Blind Melon, Ben Kenney. I have even downloaded old stuff from Pink Floyd. MTV is not gonna show you the best out there, but the worst. MTV is about marketing image, clothes. The MUSIC is not in the TELEVISION.
Yeah the music sucks now and days, thats why I dont listen to most the stuff out their now. Usually listen to the old tracks from growing up cause I don't think I could listen to any of the now and day songs for more than maybe 20 seconds. I agree man.
Also, I'm glad that they brought back Beavis & Butthead, that used to be my shit growing up!
