I think people need to get off their Pharisaic attitudes and let these young people express themselves for Christ. People spend too much time judging other people and forming opinions about them instead of focusing on Jesus. People get too focused on what other people have instead of just focusing on Jesus and living the life that He has planned for them. Jesus has some wealthy disciples and some poor disciples and it's non of our business what Jesus has planned for someone else. There is a reason for some being rich and a reason for some being poor. Focus on Jesus and don't try to figure it all out.
Lastly, when I was struggling financially I was very skeptical about Christians who had allot of money. Then I met some who were full of mercy, generous beyond belief with their time and finances and I learned if they made a video about their lives people would hate but God blessed their diligence and hard work.
A man pulled up to a church with a limo and people were mad until they learned he was living off of 20% of his income the rest he gave away. He was doing so since he was next to broke.

I Don't think most christians are racist.We sometimes have black people come to our church and they make church more fun and exciting.White people at our church are very broing unless we have a cool youth pastor but black people make it just always way better.

I think people need to get off their Pharisaic attitudes and let these young people express themselves for Christ. Obviously, by using the term "gangsters" as Christians they don't mean it in the evil sense. If God can take a pagan torture instrument of death like a cross and turn it into an internationally known symbol of Christian new life, then far be it from us to think that His people cannot also "redeem" terms and other things in this world.

People spend too much time judging other people and forming opinions about them instead of focusing on Jesus. People get too focused on what other people have instead of just focusing on Jesus and living the life that He has planned for them. Jesus has some wealthy disciples and some poor disciples and it's non of our business what Jesus has planned for someone else. There is a reason for some being rich and a reason for some being poor. Focus on Jesus and don't try to figure it all out.

Lastly, when I was struggling financially I was very skeptical about Christians who had allot of money. Then I met some who were full of mercy, generous beyond belief with their time and finances and I learned if they made a video about their lives people would hate but God blessed their diligence and hard work.
A man pulled up to a church with a limo and people were mad until they learned he was living off of 20% of his income the rest he gave away. He was doing so since he was next to broke.

I love how Jesus was accused of being a wine bibber. He was hanging out with the real people who were considered to be unreachable, hopeless. And he put things in ways use common folk could grasp it. Parables. We need to constantly examine ourselves to make sure we're with the right gang.

But just as Jazz, Rock (Originated by African Americans originaly) and Hip-Hop music it takes a while for it to gain acceptence in the mainstram culture. Not that everyone will embrace it but it will be more accepted as a true form of authentic praise and a tool (preaching to music and rythem) to reach the lost.
BTW, I love all races. My wife of 9 years is caucasian and we have three beautiful daughters.

Are you a brother in Christ? If so, you understand that making money is not a sin. I've never heard of an artist who doesn't accept money for their hard work.
It's also very easy to judge someone you've never met or talked to. If we look at each other the way Christ does we'd look past each others imperfections and meet each others needs. Now the music we listen to & TV shows we spend a lot of time watching will tell a lot about what we feel is important. Lets keep it real and strive for truth

What I'm saying is that the disciples were a group of people who had a common mission. A group of people with a common mission is one of the definition of a gang in the dictionary. Not my view that just the definition.
I know in our society these days when we used the word gang we automatically think drug dealer and so on, but that isn't the context the Gospel Gangsters are using the word for their name. It's a good group, with a good mission.
