Are you crazy? Kids grow up in multilingual homes and speak both Chinese and English completely naturally abreast other kids their age. Kids in my class in sixth grade talked normally and only halfway through the year did we learn that they spoke to their families at home in Japanese.
I think what you forgot is that English is not a science or art, it is a language. You can learn a language but you can't know their cultures completely. You can never be a chicken from a duck egg. Try to appreciate others' victories, rather than criticize. Ok !
