@kzeppelin2010 Sounds good. I'm so sick of people downing V6 Camaros. It pisses me the hell off. It's a Camaro, who the hell cares what it is. It's badass either way.
@Telaikai really? what do you have to do to them? I know a dude with a cammed and stalled 3800. Has SLP intake. Its best ever 1/4 was 15.0. My 25 old porsche 944s with a 16v 4cyl does 15.2
@MangoSmoothie16 Stage four twin turbo 3.8 v6. Camming it out and slapping an intake on it isn't going to do anything more, really. It makes it faster, but that's about it. It's not going to make it breathtaking. V8's aren't everything, dude. It's what you do to them that matters. Anything can be fast. Anyways though, it runs 0-60 in 1.36 seconds, and it ran an 8.9 at 152 MPH in a 1/4 mile. Less weight, more power. Ftw.
that sounds soooooooo nice! i really think this would be better than my.... flowmaster muffler haha. def wake my neighbors up EVERY time i come home from work :)
I have true duals that follow the stock piping location but it sounds nothing like this. i might swap over to equal length like yours but hows the ground clearance with your setup? and do you have much drone?
you would have to get this exact setup to get the exact sound, even changing one component of it noticeably alters the sound. the ground clearance is worse than stock but still not bad. i dont have the car anymore but i dont remember scrapping the pipes ever. drone is only really noticeable when the engine is under a heavy load like going up a mountain, and also going over about 70 or 80 mph - otherwise its good
This car sounds great!! In fact I like the sound so much on a V6 it doesn't have the whine you usually hear from other exhaust systems I plan on doing this same set up on my 99 Firebird and I will definitley give credit where credit is due!!!!
Hows the drone?

@2001camaro11
under the car, still have good clearance if done right. you could probably run a x-pipe under the tunnel if it was a custom made one.

Will I be able to use the x pipe on my stock headers??
MsFag69 9 months ago
@MsFag69
the x pipe is a summit racing universal - any application will require custom fabrication

@Telaikai but they are slow...
MangoSmoothie16 6 months ago
@MangoSmoothie16 No, 3.4's are slow, with only 160 HP. 3.8's are not. I have one, and it's a very quick car with a lot of potential.

hey man i have a 96 camaro rs same engine um how much did the exhaust system cost?

Nice sound. I usually don't care much for loud mufflers on a V6, but the X-pipe almost adds an exotic sound to the exhaust.

RodSmith8080 2 years ago
wow thats gotta be the best 3.8 camaro i ever heard! major props for the x pipe. do you know the cost of that kind of exhaust work?
grn97rs 2 years ago
Xpipe was about $100, Mufflers $60 each, headers were $250. Should be able to get the exhaust welded up for under $100 at any reasonable shop.
