MBC (Manual boost controller) and EBC (Electronic boost controller) both block the connection between your turbo and wastegate. It basically bleeds or releases a certain amount of air to 'trick' the wastegate into opening later. Therefore producing more boost.
@DoveofHope I had my SAFC II mounted on the dash of my SIlvia S14 near the cluster. Got broken into and stolen, wiring and all. All the panels around my DVD deck got smashed but the deck was left behind, Also had my seat unbolted but left in the car. Insurance is buying me a Neo now, after a litle fighting with them.
u can do a street tune fairly easily. set ur throttle calibrations, set ur hi/lo throttle points, then set ur maps. if i remember right... its been almost a year since ive had to do it. just remember that it will only kick in during open loop. otherwise the ecu will just do its regular thing in closed loop. for obdII anyways, not sure about other cars.
What kind of hp gains did you get with the neo??
