  • the early mosley was a knockout machine with a awkward kind of style.would have been a better fight with money may at feather weight.

  • Mosely was owned...... That dick paid Mayorga to take a dive Fuck that pussy

  • every fight i watch mosley always wants to touch gloves excessively with the opponent as if hes saying lets be friends.. why dont you book a room with him after the fight while your at it

  • Mosley got very shitty style, too fkin open, no head movement, jumps around and shitty slapping jabs.

  • Miss this Shane...

  • @MrFightPromotions Mosefag got his ass owned get over it...That asshole paid Mayorga to take a dive.....Fuck that queer

  • That was such a hard headbutt. And Vernon's punches were even harder lol. This was the first and only time I have ever seen Mosley get hurt that badly. He was totally out on his feet for a full 80 seconds.

  • @FSMNoodlyAppendage He's a fundamental puss...Just got exposed the arrogant fuckwad

  • man that headbutt looked intentional

  • even with steroids mosely cant beat Vernon

  • george foreman is a great announcer that doesnt fabricate like merchant and lampley but we all know that no one and I mean NO ONE including manny pacquiao hit mosley as hard as vernon hit him with the body shots right hands and that uppercut. he was just old. I mean cmon he would have destroyed sergio mora around 2000

  • I think the little uppercut did the most damage

  • Vernon forrest would be looping that right hand on pacquiao and floyd all night

  • footwork number 1, speed, smarts and timing number 2.

  • Really incredible achievement by Mosley to survive the later part of round 2.

  • Most american flag trunks look stupid, but Shane's look fresh.

  • WOW......Shane Mosley should be lucky a veteran ref was calling that fight...... a lesser experienced ref would have stopped it!!!!!

  • wow how they gona make em fight 5'9 to 6'1... 4 inches difference

  • You mean to tell me Pacquiao hit him harder than Forrest did from 6:07-7:25?!! Get the f*** out of here!! Mosely threw the Pac fight plain and simple!!

  • @svp2010 Hahaha ... wow. That's ludicrous.

  • @svp2010 I agree manny did not nearly hit as hard as vernon

  • Vernon was so damn good.

  • THE UPPERCUT @ 6:16 is VICIOUS!!!!!

  • can you upload the rematch?

  • @YUZO2kxx Mosley was scared of that right hand in the second fight........He circled out of harms way almost the entire fight....Vernon seemingly had his number and his style and size were too much for Shane. After this fight he visibly lost his confidence and had to gain an advantage with PED's. The rematch SUCKS!!!

  • i thought and think Mosley would have beat him...the clash of heads changed it...but hey thats just my opinion

  • @BOXINGFANFAN They both clashed heads its no excuse they both got banged up there

  • @Dantedijon i know they both got banged up, but it is plain to see that mosley came of worse...R.I.P Vernon

  • @BOXINGFANFAN I seen they said that cut might of got to him

  • @Dantedijon..yeah but bangn heads can affect one person more than the other

  • steroids this fight Balco

  • Wait thought they said Mosley never been ko? when he fought pacquiao

  • @jasonask1 Mosley has never been stopped

  • wow big difference between this Mosley and the one we saw against Pacquiao.

  • @TheDannyboy55 roids thats why

  • from 6:14 to 6:20 thats whats waiting for mosley on may 7th

  • @recoroldan Hey Pacquiaos the one thats been knocked out stupid before ;) not Mosley

  • @xxliljpxx i know thats why im saying that whats gonna happen on sat may 7 i never said anything about pacman not being koed

  • @xxliljpxx yeah, it was before he had roach for a trainer, his old trainer starved him in a sauna a couple of weeks before the fight just to lower his weight. stupidity on pac's trainer.

  • mosley was knocked down by forrest, in this fight.take note that mosley was on his prime during this fight..gayweather was not able to do the same..though shane's toughness is now passed..this shows that gayweather's power is no match to vernon..

  • @dericpajalla different styles make for different fights

  • mosley vs pacquiao

  • That's a pretty good tribute to Shane, I think. This was clearly a dangerous fight. Remember that this was when he was THE GUY. He could have avoided Forrest his entire life. But he's a guy that fights anyone. I really think he doesn't get enough credit for his chin. This was the only real knockdown of his career and that was a Martinez v. Paul Williams type punch that would put anyone else OUT. He was so fast back then!

  • haha mishaPactard i dont care about margarito, this is only big arums-top rank business since some years ago,,, you cant understand explanations of the prove and other truths bcause u are only a sick brainless fan of this arums mediatic circus of manipulation.... first go to learn about boxing, if you cant then visit ridiculous videos like this: "best boxing fight ever"..ROFL (specially for ignorant fans like you !!! : /watch?v=O8yoVL8gjxE

  • @goonookanooka

come on, this was a true boxing fight....

(the truly bad decision is the next 'business fight' vs pacroids)

    and forrest deserved this opportunity

  • @cuentasinusar where is your prove hes on steroids your a fucking pendejo puto

  • @MishaPilsudski

only pactards and idiots defend pacroids

PUTA TU MADRE , Y VE A LAMERLE LA VERGA A TU PINCHE PACQUIAO,,, PINCHE MARICON !!!! hahahha

  • @cuentasinusar where is your prove? what i bet you pick margarito to beat manny right stupid....

  • Comment removed

  • i dont understand how could top fighter with skills, power, speed and size like Forrest lost to the shit like Mayorga

  • @EvanderHolyfield7 yeah i know boxing is crazy my brother

  • @EvanderHolyfield7

Because sometimes good technical fighters struggle against people who have a wild, unpredictable style. It also has to be said that Mayorga at welter was a huge puncher.

  • Shane really had a lot going for him, but he always lacked a litlle bit in defence. And Vernon with his reach took advantage.

  • RIP Vernon. He was a great man in and out of the ring. Look him up!

  • Mosley never ducked anyone his whole career, I still rate him as a top welterweight when he was in his prime.

  • @auspunk79 yeah Mosley & De La Hoya

  • @auspunk79 mosley did duck fighters. when mosley was pound for pound best floyd mayweather asked him to fight and shane refused.

  • @JuanMiguel204 Probly true but there were other big fights were out there for him at that point, what I'm saying is that he fought him anyway later & fought everyone else that was great from his era, what more can you ask of a fighter

  • @auspunk79 george foreman sucks as an announcer.

  • @JuanMiguel204 Yeah ain't that the truth!!

  • @auspunk79 oh please..the guy was a juicin' cheater and will be rembered as such

  • @auspunk79

Mosley also never ducked steriods (:

  • R.I.P VERNON FORREST

  • I forgot how fast Mosley was in his younger lightweight days.

  • I have never seen Mosley be clocked by so many punches like he did on the First Knockdown in my life.

  • shane should have boxed vernon the way he did de la hoya the first fight he wouldd have won

  • Pacquiao will K O Shane Mosley mark my word!!!!

He will taste the ass of the ring!!!

  • @MrRocketstar47 i agree

  • @MrRocketstar47 i dunt kno about that buddy, he could prolly beat him by unanimous decision but n not by knockout!! the only way to assume that if pac man fight floyd and puts him to bed! then we will kno, but i still believe if mosely fights mayweather again he could possibly knock him out cuz he almost did!!!! so that would be a close fight my friend!

  • @MrRocketstar47 Probably not by KO Shane is too strong but he can not take Pac Man's barrage of punches and powerful lead left and hook right we have seen Oscar do that to Shane and it has hurt him Pacquiao is too quick and with his array of punches he has all the tools to beat Shane probably for me 117-110 Pacquiao no Knockdowns no 10-8 rounds.

  • IF ANY1 KNOWS WHERE THE SECOND FIGHT IS I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF SUM1 COULD TELL ME

  • wow that was some nasty beating Mosley got in the last minute of round 2!!

  • what year did these two fight 1999 for both fights right?

  • @moneyman1571 They faught in 2001 and 02

  • thats what makes boxings so unique atleast he never duck anyone

but how was he P4P when he hasn't fought the best

  • Jesus, that right hand at 6:06 was vicious! RIP Vernon...

  • Underrated fighter

  • no it wasn't the Headbutt it was the skills

  • I think the turning point was that initially headbutt.

  • @mmcneil777

    It was.

  • @mmcneil777 no it wasn't the Hedbutt it was the skills

  • And , yes gentleman this is mosley before he was full of steroids. Dam bastard , cheater son of the bitch. You can notice the diference on him on this fight and

when he fought De La Hoya . Dirty cheater mosley.

  • mosley is a powerful, quick fighter with a strong chin, but i think his lack of hand discipline really screwed him in round 2

  • RIP VERNON FORREST a real G

  • @nikonxxx When vernon tried in the second fight with mora, he completely outclassed him.

  • am i the only one who realized that when forest hit shane with that right uppercut he was sleep, but then when forest threw that left hook he woke him back up???? VICIOUS!!!!!!!

  • in the words of mayorga: "that black guy hits hard!"LOL

  • forrest awesome

  • mayorga beat forrests ass.

  • @000WOLFBANE000

    then shane ko'd mayorga

  • @EdwardDaniell he got shot when someone tried to steal his car.

  • @goonookanooka.....I agree that his entire career was mismanaged now that I think about it. He shouldn't have fought Forrest at that time. shouldn't have went up to 154 to fight the bigger stronger Winky Wright....plus the rematch. he should have stayed at 147. besides beating Oscar Delahoya....who did he beat??? could have been so much better, but he wants to fight who is on top at the wrong times.. .. example...floyd mayweather...at age 37...com on..man...well at least he got big pay days

  • Shane needs to stop moving back against an opponent with such a long reach.

  • This is almost getting knock out and that Mosley-Mayweather second round. Mayweather didn't even get knock down but everybody acts like Mayweather almost got knock out. Forrest-Mosley second round was actually more of somebody almost being knockout. When Mosley gets knockdown twice I thought the refree was going to call the fight.

  • You see how Vernon follow up attack after Mosley got dropped? Well Mosley didn't do that to Floyd instead he hugged Mayweather for many seconds..

  • @F1ipPr0md1

this isnt a pac video and isnt a mayweathe video piss off and mosley did go after floyd but floyd kept his composure twice and used the ropes and clinched

  • man, if there was .45 sec or more the ref wouldve called the fight

  • If he's a good fighter then Shane would take the fight. Period. That's what made Shane a real man.

  • @SaienTV why not ?? if if floyd fights martinez who beat williams in my eyes ,that would be a great fight !!! A BLOCKBUSTER !!!

  • That dude quit against Gayweather

  • @SaienTV

I gotta say .. it's nice to see . two individuals blog in a realistic perspective !!

you both make sense ... i personally , im not even that excited for pacman vs money may ...reason being ,, is floyd is on a entire diff level ... n pacquaio he's improved greatly ... great speed.. work rate ... but as a pro bout the guy is just too wild !!!

I put it in simple terms , didnt really break it down ..but what do u guys think ?

  • Shane looks alot faster here than he does now. Maybe if floyd fought this mosley it could've been a much more competitive fight even though he got his ass whooped by vernon.

  • @userho

Agreed. This Mosley destroys Shane. Vernon was just to damn big.

  • i never understood why shane took this fight. it was in the f'ing theater at madison square garden, not the big arena, why fight the most dangerous contender when you're considered pound for pound number one in front of almost nobody, and not build it to a big fight? Shanes entire career was mismanaged.

  • @goonookanooka He took it cause he had beaten everyone more or less in his weight class, he had just beaten Delahoya, that division wasn't as rich with fighters as it became 5 years down the line...also Vernon had beaten him in the amateur....anyway I remember this fight, Shane was lucky it came with a min left or he would've been k.oed...his legs were gone, credit to him, he was a good fighter.

  • @goonookanooka i read the theater is 5600 capacity and only used when main event is booked similar to tonight when khan fights malignaggi

  • @goonookanooka Agreed. He took bad fights, against guys like Forest & Cotto, etc who were VERY hungry for glory. But that's Mosley. He just takes the fight as soon as it's offered. I never heard of a fight that Mosley turned down. But it was mismanaged. Someone should have been there to say, NO! You beat De La Hoya, you got the chips, you got the pocket Aces, you can fight whoever you want.

It's the century old boxing story of the pure fighter mentality in boxing that hurts their career.

  • @goonookanooka well it happens... I mean im sure mosley has or had what it took to beat Forrest it just turned out this way.. it happens.. its called a chance

  • @goonookanooka u know y?

cos unlike a lotta other fighters he ait a ducker

  • @goonookanooka He was forced to take the fight after facing three gimmes of HBO. He had to choose between Forrest and Winky. In fact Vernon had baulked at the initial offer (this fight was scheduled to take place at the end of 2001), leading Mosley to negotiate with Winky instead. Winky wanted even more money on the basis of him being the champion (@154). Mosley was forced to go back to Forrest with a better offer. This was supposed to be a unification but Forrest was stripped during all this.

  • @goonookanooka Yeah some what mismanaged but one excellent career and a damn good fighter

  • @goonookanooka yeah but that's what wrong with boxing today, one loss and everyone thinks your done? so bitch ass fighters won't fight the most dangerous and live opponents... Shane did it how it's supposed to be done.. take on all comers, most particular those that are the best and most dangerous as often as possible...

  • @goonookanooka At least he was prepared to take the risk, so credit to him for that. There are many fighters who spend their lives building up their records whilst fighting nobody of substance.

  • @goonookanooka u right but thats what makes boxings so unique atleast he never duck anyone

but how was he P4P when he hasn't fought the best

  • @goonookanooka Wow, excellent point! Now I see why Mayweather refused to fight Paul Williams not only was he not a big name like Vernon but dangerous fighter as well, and Floyd won't take the risk of losing to an unpopular boxer, Shane could have avoided this. And I knew Shane was going to lose!

  • @jwh1999 first of all the fight with williams will be just like he fought corrales to easy paul williams to be big doesnt fight big at all watch his fights u will see that and vernon fights big in all his fights thats the difference! floyd would destroy williams sorry

  • @goonookanooka I agree with you on most of what u said. Personally i think it was a good fight for Shane. I believe that if u are pvp #1 u should be fighting good fighters in there primes that are in your same weightclass. It seems that when these guys get to the top they start cherry picking ( yes i mean floyd and manny). Shane was the best and he tested his skills against a good fighter.

  • @goonookanooka what you mean you never understood? thats what real boxers are supposed to do. the venue the money the type of opponent shouldnt matter. its about who you fight now wwhat you fight for.

  • @goonookanooka That's was Shane's saving grace. This fight was so overshadowed by other fights and his win over De La Hoya. Shane is lucky this fight got so overlooked, he got his ass whipped, bad.

  • @goonookanooka nahh man shane wanted to prove that he'd take anyone and that he wasnt ducking anyone.

  • @goonookanooka must of been his asshole wife who managed his career

  • @goonookanooka

Cos he's a warrior, simple as that, fought anyone, anywhere.

  • @axel151 warriors don't need steroids

  • @goonookanooka Shane really meet anyone who wanted to fight him.. good or bad i dont know, but he really was a old school fighter were the best meet the best, to see who really was the best in the division.

  • @goonookanooka shane did the same thing with winky. he's certainly not the type of guy to duck anyone.

  • @goonookanooka Shane had a good first round and probably would have won. He got completely unnerved by the head butt.

  • @DeDona1

well then how would you explain the rematch there was no head butt there. The truth is styles make fights shane cannot beat vernon end of story. Vernon beat him in the ammateurs, and he beat him both times in the pros. The head butt is no excuse especially since vernon's head was hit too.

  • @TheProjektcc At this point before the head butt Mosely was clearly fighting like as the best fighter on the planet. Look at the difference after the head butt. I see 2 completely different fighters. While styles do make fights i just think Mosely was on a different level coming into this fight.

  • My friend it was only one round!! Lots of boxers lose the first couple of rounds trying to figure out the opponent. I don't see what was so spectacular that made you think Shane was guaranteed to win until the headbutt. Especially since Forrest is known to be a slow starter.

And it still doesn't explain Mosley's loss in the amateurs or in the rematch.

Like I said styles, makes fights and this is just one style Mosley can't deal with. In the same way Forrest couldn't deal with Mayorga.

  • @TheProjektcc I always liked Forrest and may he rest in peace. Forrest did have the style to give Mosely trouble and I dont know what would have happened if the head butt did not occur. Mosely still may have lost. All I am trying to say is that at this point in their careers Mosely was on a different level.

  • @TheProjektcc In the same way that Mayorga couldn't deal with Shane. lol

  • RIP. I thought Forrest was going to win. He was a 7-1 underdog, should've put my money where my mind was. Mosley was koing everybody and Forrest was outboxing them so HBO backed Mosley and talked him up hence the good odds on Forrest, who beat him in the rematch too.

  • WTF... People who think Mayweather's gonna K.O Mosley are retards....

Maybe by decision but, If there is a K.O it's gonna be Mayweather who gets his ass K.O'ed I mean come on Gayweather.... 40 fights and only 25 K.O's ???? Are you fucking kidding me ? look at Pac-Man or Mosley's records dam

  • @jkim204 who da fukk is talking bout pacman???? fuck that pinoy midget

bitch is scared of needles.....and his KO power comes from that A side meth

  • @jkim204 so now that we've all seen how mosley got destroyed beyond belief, what do you have to say about mayweather now? :P

  • vernon forrest was a beast

  • mosley didnt want ne part of forrest? thts y he rematched im u idiot

  • Floyd wanted no part of Forest, and wants no part of Pacq, Paul Williams or Cotto

  • @mcentrac1 lol....mosley didnt want any part of forest either.

  • @mcentrac1 Floyd signed the deal for pacq and only asked pacq to take a blood test but because pacq is dirty he declined. At this time Floyd was 130 lbs when vernon and shane fought. By the time Floyd came up to the 147lb class Vernon was fighting at 160. Paul Williams is not all that good he is 6 ft 1 or 2 killing himself to fight little guys at 147. Cmon Floyd is fighting Mosley who fought cotto and lost a close decision. We'll see who is right after Saturday night.

  • pacman didnt agree to blood testing 14 days out but would submit to it 24 days out and also after the match. anyways i think pac is innocent until proven guilty.

  • @mcentrac1 no part of cotto LOLOLOLOL dude cotto is washed up and damaged and even cotto at his prime would have lost to mayweather

  • PBF would never fight Forrest, Wright, Cotto. i'm glad the manny fight fell apart because after this fight other than manny who is going to make PBF money? He can't sell without a good B-side.

  • @16brandex well of course he wouldnt have fought vernon and winky. they are HUGE in comparison and can fight at 160. as for cotto, most ppl dont know that while PBF was with top rank, he wanted cotto when he was undefeated but Arum said cotto wasnt ready for him yet. Arum didnt want to damage Cotto with a loss and decline and lose value cuz he was raking in crazy money in NYC. a lot happens behind the scenes in boxing matchmaking.

  • i dont see shane beating pbf

  • @jacob3432 SUGAR SHANE IS GONNA BEAT FLOYD HANDS DOWN BY T.K.O. IN THE LATE ROUNDS.

  • @yeloboi21 dont get me rong im no floyd fan i just cant see how shane will beat him

  • @jacob3432 they're both fast but shane got that knock out power floyd jus be tappin n movin. one of them rounds i guarantee shane gonna hit floyd and have him stumblin

  • @yeloboi21 i gess we'll see

  • @yeloboi21 u dont know boxing

  • @BigJuan3134L i know waaaaay more about boxing then yo mexican ass. Ima amateur lightheavyweight. u probably jus a big fat lazy ass dat jus sit around eatin tacos wit beans n rice all day lmao

  • @yeloboi21 im black u dnt knw boxin

  • @yeloboi21 good call

  • How the Fug Cotto Beat the Shyt outta Shane. Margarito beat the Shyt and Piss outta Cotto. But.....Shane beat the Shyt , Piss and Blood outta Margarito. The Fight game crazy as Shyt

  • @qubice41 cotto nd mosley fight coulda went any way it was close

  • the str8 right that shane got hit with in this fight @6:07 is the same punch he will more then likely get hit with by floyd. Being that floyd is the best in the biz at throwing the str8 right. I truly wish shane didnt have 2 fight money may bcuz i like boh fighters. 2 bad manny didnt take shane up on his offer to him!!! But we never hear about that all we hear is how floyd wants to do random testing. Shane agreed and may 1st it goes down!?!?!? WHO R U PICKING?

  • floyd isnt gonna try to hit shane offensivly i guess hes gonna go for one of this 12 round defensive counter punch fight and this will be why he wins

  • @abigmacsass i totally agree with u

  • man forrest fucked shane upppp in the 2nd round

  • Vernon Forrest was amazing RIP....

mayweather vs mosley should be a great fight but why did mayweather back out against pacquiao??????

  • Mosleys got a badass right hand.

  • Damn I seen refree stop a fight on what Forrest was doing to mosley. I am suprised this fight wasn't called a tko win for forrest.

  • Yeah I think that they should've stopped the fight here because Mosley is obviously hurt bad. You can die from keeping fighting after you get a concussion like this and keep getting hit. Serious drain bamage.

  • mosley got laided out

  • in the words of mayorga: "that negro hits hard!" HAHAHHA

  • mosley have been battle tested, mayweather havent. When mosley fought the forrest's, the cotto's and margarito's, shane come in as the smaller fighter. When shane fight mayweather, he will actually come in as the bigger fighter. Sure mayweather had great defense but he taste shane speed and power with body shots, that defense is not going to be there in the later rounds...trust me.

  • The same way mayweather whooped gatti (rip) is the same way floyd is going to whoop shane...they'll stop the fight in the 11th!

  • The ONLY reason Forrest was able to score those knockdowns was because of the headbutt. That butt was right on the temple and totally screwed up his equilibrium.

  • ima stick with shane i predict floyd by decision on all cards or shane by tko under 10 rounds

  • @matrixlone what a cowards prediction....

  • @Chuckylee thatas my prediction cause shit happens

  • @matrixlone Thats not a prediction Nut head...its a cowards way of not picking
