No App alternative I use is, 1) create a folder called "spacer" pop it in my docs (hidden attribute if you like)
2) Rclick taskbar and create new toolbar using the "spacer" folder - (Unlock taskbar )Drag this toolbar to the right, if you also want to use it to center the icons on the taskbar, Its a little tricky to drag it towards the start orb area, but give it a few goes and you will get it.
3) Set this toolbar to not display text or title and adjust as indicated, then relock taskbar
4) Open up the desktop folder, via explorer and also open up that spacer folder, then just drag the Recycle bin over, it will create a shortcut to it - rename and/or change icon if wanted etx
5) Then its just a case of going to control panel - personalisation - change desktop icons - and untick the Reclycle bin.
All done, not really complicated, no programs, and you can dragon droppings to it too.
A stupid third party program running in the background that tells your recycle bin is full or empty. That is so useless because you can't drag things to it so you still gotta keep the recycle bin icon on your desktop.
System Tray is used for things that need to notify you about their status regularly. Recycle Bin simply does not belong there. I like your shirt Veornica :)
@mikeemoras Well, I'm pretty sure >12 people agree with me.
