  • they weren't a 'pack of lesbos', only the drummer Kate is gay. The others were more interested in having babies than going forward with the band. I think they'd have made it big, but girl bands ALWAYS break up

  • Dickies. Earn Them.

  • the bass player rocks

  • I saw them live in Cleveland Ohio 1995 and they were great then just as now.

  • i wonder if people understand how music influence the mass,,,,,,,, and its a beautifull thing

  • exelente ritmo de los 90, buen estilo. buena musica; saludos de Peru .

  • Gabby is one good looking lady!!!!

  • first heard of these cats when they released this albumn I watched them on "Obrian" singing "Here" 1995 or something Vivian was still there.

  • I remember when the drummer was in the ORIGINAL Beastie Boys

  • Gotta hand it to this pack of lesbos, they rocked hard, very unique sound. Oddly enough, a riff from the Billy Squire song 'Lonely is the Night' reminded me of these dudettes, so I looked them up.

  • @LateNightCable Lesbos? Hahaha thanks for saving me before I ran all out blasting them, Haha

  • Song Of The Day.

  • what would the Beastie Boys be like today if Kate would have stayed?

  • tenia 14 años cuando escuche este tema exelente sonido. saludos de Peru

  • Missing the Ladies of Luscious Jackson!

  • ♥Luscious Jackson♥

  • A masterpiece; the final lyrics are goosebump-inducing for me to even think about.

  • This song reminds me of those hot summer days when my friends and I would smoke a joint, then walk around lower Manhattan all afternoon and just hang out and watch people. This song just invokes that kind of mood---chill, cool, mellow...yet sort of captures that subdued and hip energy of downtown NYC.

  • HELL YES !

  • I love this song, it has that NYC feeling. The best city in the world . Manhattan.

  • love this song! can tell that they are the sister band to the beasties

  • First Band signed to Grand Royal, the B-Boys label.

  • True New Yorkers, this band. Not sure if they were all born and raised in NYC, but their sound and style was unmistakable. Love their music still. 90s were awesome.

  • @dropdeadbrunette I miss the 90's. And so true...no place like NYC.

  • The drummer is Kate Schellenbach.

I would say it's clear she was born with the beat. She is a natural.

  • the drummer used to be in the Beastie Boys

  • the drummer? she's holding it DOWN. Biiiiiiiig time. tanx for the post....jam on....and on,,,,and on....;-!

  • G-G-G-G-G-r-r-r-o-o-o-o-v-e-e-e-e-e-e

  • Wow. Remember when real women were allowed on MTV? Seems like ancient history.

  • I remember those days. Most likely late 80s-90s. There were a lot of great women in music during this time and MTV proudly played their music. Luscious Jackson came out at the right time.
