  • Good video ! Great song !

  • oh man. cheeeeeeeeesy.

  • brilliant track love it

  • best!

  • Probably my fav song off my top albums of all time, but what a cheap video. Looks like they bought it off the shelf for £20. What a let down.

  • @delhomewrecker I think this might be a fan video. Cheers.

  • I agree. Best song eva. my fav

  • レディオヘッド

    great band

  • 何年間聞き続けても泣けてくる

  • When I first discovered Radiohead I thought it was "little ant hanging around". For some reason I intentionally waited like six months to look up the lyrics.

  • te conmueve

  • this is truly a masterpiece

  • Very nice video man!

  • 3:40 onwards is the greatest thing i've ever heard!

  • @jasis666 FULLY AGREE, MAN! EARGASM!!!

  • @jasis666 I have to agree with u there! When them drums get going and the lead guitar playing just accelerates the song to a new level :)

  • @jasis666 Ye the level of tension is almost upto breaking point,Thom is truly in the zone when he starts singing. Makes the hairs stand up on the back of the neck

  • Una gran canción! Muy buen video! =)

  • hey im like your video thanks for the aporte n_n! return

  • hey im like your video thanks for the aporte n_n!

  • That was awesome man. It choked me up. Thank You

  • Really truly amazing song and really good work on the video. Your shot composition could be a little better, but overall I think you did a really top notch job of using this song to tell a story. Keep it up!

  • This song is part of my life.

  • i found this song motivational not depressing, its just great how the melody is filled the whole song produce me shivers, one of my favourites from radiohead

  • Beautiful song, great video

  • I'm 38 & I've come to realise this is one of the greatest songs ever written.

  • Fabulous song! It makes me trip....

  • i liked the video and think the tone and action fit in very well with this song. this song is so heavenly it must come from god [or someone equally talented]

  • The electronic-like sounds at the end makes this the best song endings of all times. If not the best. Definitely, impossible to forget.

  • Radiohead, you really take me somewhere else.

  • This song is genius, a work of art. But the video? It's horrible, laughable actually. It looks like 8th graders made it. Sorry, I cringed! Especially in the epic last 2 minutes where Thom sings "You know where you are, with..." ??? Omg what an abortion!

  • @va70065

Great song agreed, but why take a cheap shot at person that made the video man? Especially given the tone of the video..

  • @va70065 That's hardly a fair analysis. I think he did a really good job of conveying the tone of the song through his video. Clearly this took a lot of effort and had a lot of thought put into it. And if you payed attention then you could tell that he was very mindful of what was lit and in focus.

You obviously don't know a thing about camera work if you're saying that this video "looks like 8th graders made it". Or you're giving 8th graders far more credit than they deserve.

  • Just beautifully crafted music. I love them so much.

  • One of my favourites Radiohead´s songs..

  • Aswesome song, Awesome Video!!!!! One of the best member videos on YouTube!

The images speak to how I feel. Thanks for making and posting.

  • My opinion ' respect all genres' was mine i-don't-know how many years ago.

Anyways, it changed. rap= waste. (At least the new rap)

  • @Bl33DBL4CK agree bout the new stuff. everything past 97 is shit to me, but tupac, biggie smalls, and early nas were great

  • don't get sentimental , it always ends up drivel.

  • I used to blast this song on my way home from a hard, depressing day of work....

  • get a life !!

  • how is this not one of their songs with millions of views?

  • You're totally right.

    NOT. =D

  • @kanharn

You have to be fucked in the head to think this song is like a dog howling.

    Oh wait you are.

  • heard this song was reference to Kafka's "Metamorphosis." don't know if it is true (don't really think so) but it got me reading Kafka something that I am glad that I did! So thank you untrue Radiohead fact.

  • "crushed like a bug in the ground. " it sounds like kafka, not intirely, but the feeling is the same, to become a bug, feel like shit.

  • I love how the song seems so sad at the beginning, but then starts in a thriving happy mood.

  • No me cansaria de escuchar este tema en 100 años seguidossss.. Gran Tema..

  • Enorme au niveau de l'émotion

    U2 , Radiohead and deus

    deus the rockBand not god

    ema2100

  • one of my favorite radiohead songs....brings back good mems. sooo pretty

  • one of the best songs ever man

  • @cartridgeboxers I agree.. love it so much!!!

  • I've felt thus often and I even feel thus. Thanks so much RADIOHEAD.

  • favourite song by them

  • Totally agree - their best without doubt!

  • perfectly placed on the album, perfectly keyed to be a bizzaro world counter to karma police. this song is beautiful man. i love it. i could listen to it 1000 more times and never get tired of it. a chemical reaction, not useless though.

  • Brilliant song! Thom is still a cold prick, but a talented one atleast.

  • c'mon...i'm sure this song (as i see it) is saying you have to lift your own negativies to get to the positives... i'm all all kindsa things, but know that my true state of 'betterness' can onlt be got to by my own desire...

  • Depressed? Not all bad. Acceptance.

Hysterical. One day. Useless. One day. Chemical Reaction. One day. I will grow wings. One day.

Just not today. Hang in there.

  • Amazing song, it represents false hope to me. Like no matter what, a loser will be a loser.

  • Faaaaavorite Radiohead song EVER!

  • best song ever of all ever

  • tyvm. luv yer

  • one of the best pop songs ever written...melody and the lyrics are put together in a very interesting way, moreover, there is a message in the song too, whcih is one of the paramount things a song should have, truly a piece of art Thom, though the videoclip does not reach the quality of the song obviously...

  • covered by Toots on the Radiodread album. Original Radiohead song.

  • i would never classify a song such as this one as a "pop" song.

  • Not Pop, Alternative.

  • its not pop though :/

  • is it the official video?

C'est la video officielle de cette chanson?

  • nope

  • From 4:00 to 4:20 is beatiful

  • Temazo!

  • nice video really suited what is an already amazing song

  • that was well done. Thank you for posting that.

  • shit

  • one day I am gonna grow wings, a chemical reaction,

    hysterical and useless, hysterical and...

  • radiodread

    blaze one

  • I think this video is a fine piece of work. Well done.

  • simplemente una cancion increible...de una banda increible..

  • I'm a massive Radiohead fan & I believe that you can relate to many of their songs directly or have your own take on their lyrics. I love this song & I think this video is a great interpretation. Hats off to the commitment put in, great video.

  • others can be critical but personally my hat gos off to you , i have done a media video for a different radiohead song and it was bloody hard no such a short budget and little experience , this video could have been more surealist but it was good , and hey even radiohead themselves were able to make a video for the god like song so well done to you friend.

  • great music but the video pisses me off. no offense to you, thats just my opinion

  • He was not drunk, he was at a club and he was mad and just came up with the background idea of the song.

  • this has been my ringtone for over a yr now! I will nvr forget this song because of it :)

  • great great great. no comment. awesome last text

  • I always read how people call Radiohead songs words like melancholic and sad and depressing... I don't hear that at all. I hear methodic, progressive, intelligent music. Just because a song's slow doesn't mean it has to invoke sadness. But hey, this is music and people can feel what they want about it. I just love this shit.

  • you really damn right about that!

  • Dunno, from the lyrics and the sound it just sounds like a song about having his hopes crushed, but still hanging on to one in particular. Then again I could be totally wrong, because they can be taken so many ways.

  • awesome bro! .. i cant agree more with that

  • I can really dig this band.

    BIG UPS TO WORLD MUSC.

  • RADIOHEAVEN yeah! fuck yeah

  • una de las mejores canciones ke se han escritoo,, !! simplemente genial!!

  • The mother of all the songs. Simply perfect.

  • Damn... It`s so great... Great, great, great!

  • people how likes that music has a problem, like me. I like that

  • Well said... Very often I myself wonder why I listen to music that actually makes me feel sad and melancholic. Very weird...

  • Why do I always associate this song with the feeling of love, of something so perfect, pure and beautiful that you can't possibly reach that?

  • me too man, some of the lines are very appropriate for a love song!

i hope i will someday play this song with my band (if i manage to convince them)

  • I was refering to the music of the song rather than the lines, but yes there are some lines like one day i am gonna grw wings a chemical reaction hysterical and useless

  • If you choose to have that opinion on other genres of music, can you please try and keep it clean? Others may have a different opinion, but that doesnt mean that making inflammatory comments like yours is the right thing to do. People have varying tastes and choose what they want to listen to.

  • Hip Hop can be really good if theres something in it take for exemple Tupac, that guy was putting emotions in his songs that could send shivers down your spine anyways Pink Floyd Radiohead Tom Waits and Muse are a true gift

  • This is music, man!!!!

Fuk rap, reggaeton, hip-hop and pop.

This melody can take u to another world.

  • respect the music

    hip hop is music

    rock is music

    just respect ok?

  • Shut up.

  • is that your entire argument?

  • It's not an argument.

  • This song is amazing!!!! I loooove it!!!

  • my guess is that you haven't looked hard enough for the right kind of hip hop. not all of it is about guys taking about the rim size on their cars and whores. there's actually rap or hiphop that's really profound and worth experiencing. look up lupe fiasco. he might be my favorite hip hop artist.

  • @MRJKGOD Hip Hop, music? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • If it wasn't for some of those genre's mate, we wouldn't be listening to this perfect song.

  • How come ??

  • Because music evolved from those genres.

  • From genres ??

Aren't genres, types, kinds or styles of music ??

I mean why do u say that without hip-hop, rap or reggaeton we wouldn't have this song, i don't see any relation between 'em.

For me Radiohead is much more quality of music than any rap or hip-hop band or singer

  • It has to do with the evolution of music, everything inspired anything.

  • Sure but rock is much older than rap or hiphop.

Besides I don't think Radiohead get their inspiration from that kinda music.

  • I agree, point is, respect all genres

  • hard to respect rap, they have nothing but cheesy rhyming lyrics, videos with asses cars and gold, if anything their a de-evolutionized genre,

  • That's extremely ignorant. Clearly you've only been exposed to the garbage that MTV like to show on a regular basis. Maybe you should look up guys like Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Blu and Exile, the Roots, Common, and you'll see that hip-hop isn't only about what you mentioned. Maybe you should do some research before you bash a whole genre of music.

  • "Yo, lost generation, fast pace nation

    World population confront their frustration

The principles of true hip-hop have been forsaken

It's all contractual, and about money making

Pretend-to-be cats don't seem to know their limitations

    Exact replication and false representation

You wanna be a man, then stand your own

To MC requires skills, I demand some shown" - The Roots (What they Do)

  • @scruffz OMG NEW YOU TUBE LOOKS KEWL, anyway about hip-hop it's really not music it's just trying to be music, thank you, bye

  • @scruffz Hip Hop? Music? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  • @scruffz add Quasimoto/Lord Quas, Madwillian, Gangstarr, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap & Polo, Mobb Deep, Rakim, Ice Cube (old stuff), Binary Star. Loads more out there though.

  • im not a huge fan of rap but its just personal opinion, thers a billion people out there who disagree probably and whos to say theyr right or wrong

  • I dont see my comment, but yeah I dont believe there is a right or wrong either. Were all in our own realities and I wont throw it away for someone elses.

  • @azrial4421 That's Hip Pop you describe, crap like Puff Daddy, Lil Wayne and Souljah Boy. Not Hip Hop !!

  • @duncabbin true

  • @Bl33DBL4CK Why respect a genre that is all pose and no music? Rap, total shit. Nothing but lame idiots trying to convince everyone else they are bad asses.

  • Excellent song, well done with the vid!!!

  • fantastic video! you can tell you put a lot of emotion and effort into it.

  • What's it about? Is it that you're discovered dark secrets who's true, and asking yourself waht your purpose is and then you get no anser.. Is it about feeling pathetic (as we are) and feeling useless? I mean, everything we do is without meaning.. if you think about it and thinkin' deep.

  • You can't beat the first time you really listen to this song.

I was in an English class and it came on and I wasn't focusing on anything but the lyrics and the melody and I had a really wierd breakdown and burst into tears, but in the best way possible.

  • haha, that's pretty crazy dude

  • Lol I know, I'm too sensitive for my own good.

  • Beautiful. The climax of the gun going backwards was amazing.

  • i totally dig this. great work!

  • una de las MEJORES canciones de radiohead

  • you better watch man could get sued that songs copyrighted lol jk

  • I agree this song changed my life as well

  • I dedicate this song to my Friend Johana from Caracas Venezuela

  • i love this cinematic depiction of "let down". i like to think thom and the guys would agree. taydiggity-nicely done!!!

  • I pictured the music video for this song to be set in NY where subways are and busy miserable people going to work. Nice idea though.

  • wow, brings back memories, i was weedeating cemetaries in 98', mow the tall grass and rearrange the teddy bears and dried flowers in front of the stones. reptililian, hanging around, wondering about the lives buried like dead banana peels beneath my feet...

  • good video man tht was epic captured everything about the song gd job

  • poem

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!! it was really impressive!

  • No it's not the official. Just a student video I shot a couple years ago.

  • this is official video from Simon Hilton????

  • this song changed my life.

  • Greatest song ever written.

  • ok computer was the first album I ever bought... purely on the the strength of no surprises. when I heard 'let down' I knew radiohead would be in my life forever.

  • amazing really...

  • incredibly moving. bravo to the video maker!

this song is perhaps Radiohead's finest moment ever, and this video captures the emotions of the song brilliantly.

    very well done.

  • 4:20

    orgasm

  • lol in the song not in the pot sense of 420 lmao

  • I personally think that the orgasmic moment is at 3:43 - although it could be where the orgasm initialises and peaks at 4:20

  • Sorry i let u down!

How can I express it better!!!

I wish these words have spoken from the people who govern this world!

Sorry i let u down mankind!

I wish for a better tomorrow. Let try all of us ... just a try!

    MADE IN GREECE

  • Love this song so much. I know what people mean about a piece of music touching them in a way nothing else can. The way the song breaks down at 2.31 and slowly builds back up again is magic. And the ending, where the acoustic guitar is playing over the "computer bleeps" just does something to me.

  • i dont know speack good english, but i think radiohead is the greates band ever, jonny greenwood is my favorite guitar,no solo,no heavy, just to feel the music like this video he dicho!

  • Wow this video is so well put together in so many ways... definitely touched my soul and left a strong impression on me.

Fantastic job and KUDOS to YOU for expressing yourself in ways others are afraid to. :O)

    xox

  • Excellent video!

  • tell me about it!!!!!

  • This song takes my breath away every time I hear it. It automatically brings tears to my eyes and I don't know why. I'm not a huge Radiohead fan. Its as if there is "something in the water" here. I just can't put my finger on what it is.

EXCELLENT JOB on the video!!!! :)

  • Great video man. And awesome editing. I love how it reverses. Two thumbs up.

  • really good interpritation

    great job

  • this was and always will be a sad,&bitter sweet song for me,as i lost my son when i was just getting into "radiohead" whoever made this video, a big...thank -you,this is how i felt, icouldnt express how i felt,my wife left me, with the other kids, i almost gave-up, this kept me going thinking "someone" someday, would realise the anguish i felt.............
