That's the old Lifeguard 10. They've since gotten a brand new one and they also have Lifeguard 11. Both of them stay pretty busy. Thank God for Lifeguard. I don't know what the Roanoke Valley would do without them.

@Jamcdear My dad is a paramedic on LG11, he said by the end of 2012 there will be a LG12 based at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington, VA, It will be a EC-135 like LG11

@urdead107 Wow, that's awesome! That's great news. Now there can be a much faster response time for that area and they don't have to be just in Roanoke. Glad to hear that they are expanding!

These folks are the best.I am really happy they are here in the valley.When I worked 3rd shift at the airport here in Roanoke I used to hear them flying all night long in and out of the hospital.They now operate two helicopters and stay pretty busy.
