I've been pregnant three times and haven't been able to carry to the second trimester. I sing this song to my angels at least once a week. This song and "You Are My Sunshine" are my favourites to sing to them. I really hope my next pregnancy results in a healthy baby carried to term. I refuse to lose hope. My mother lost my brother. It made my mother very sick emotionally and to this day she still crys about the loss of her son. I truly beleive I would have loved him if I had met him. I still feel a faint tug at my heart when I think of him and I'm sure it's that way for my mother 100x's over.

This song reminds me of my Mama, who was the most loving person, she always just loved me and my siblings so much and we loved her so much. In 2008, I got pregnant, and I had a stillbirth at 21 weeks. Never in all my life had I experienced such a pain so deep, so hurtful. To this day, I still think of the baby girl I would have had. I miss her so dearly. The other day, I seen a mother beating her son for no apparant reason. It's so discouraging how people who actually want kids can't carry or are sterile, but people who don't want them, have them, and abuses them. It angers me so much.
I'm so desperately sorry for your loss. My husband and I have lost two. It doesn't always make sense why some things happen but I have assurance that I will see my two children one day. I know without a shadow of a doubt that they are with Jesus. Dear one, please remember that Jesus loves you. I am now married & have a 5 1/2 yr old son, who is truely the most amazing creature God has ever created! I can no longer have kids. So Evan is truely a miracle! I now understand why God allowed my loss. Because He knew how much Drew & I needed Evan, & how much he needed us! I get by knowing I have my babies waiting for their Mommy in Heaven!

I can't stop tearing up now. I miss my two little ones so much, everyday. As any parent knows, you lose your identity in theirs, and I just don't know who or what I am when they aren't around.

@kk051207 .I had been pregnant 11 times and I had given up, but then I prayed and prayed some more and God restored my faith. I found out that I had Celiac disease and that because of the celiac, my antibodies where higher than normal and causing the losses. Four months after I got my antibodies back to normal and stayed away from the foods that are toxic to me, I got pregnant and delivered a beautiful boy. I'm 38 and I pray that God will bless you as he did me. Faith

I've lost two children during the pregnancy, and every time that I think about them I sing this song. I just lost the second one a few days ago and its still hard to think about it. All my friends and co-workers are having children and it kills me when they show me pictures of them, but then I remember that they are with god now and that I'll see them one day.
I really fell in love with this song when I was a kid. Strangley enough it's the only song that ever made me cry even as an adult man. I didn't even flinsh when Mufasa or Bamby's mother died but this... Disney really outdid theirself with this masterpiece.

My son is now 18 and in college but I sang this song to him all the time even on his 18th birthday. He was truly a gift from God. I had no tubes but got pregnant with him miraculously... What a gift he is. I sang this to him every night at bedtime.

This song makes me cry everytime I listen to it. Mine though are a good, but bittersweet cry. My little girl was not supposed to make it past 28 weeks if she lived at all and by the grace of God she made it to 33 weeks 1 day and was 2lbs 9 oz. She did amazing and was one of the smallest babies to leave the NICU at 3lbs 6oz. It was the hardest thing to do to leave her in the hospital every night and this song became hers, I even bought her a Dumbo stuffed animal and had it in her isolette.
My son is fifteen years old now, and I used to sing this to him every day when he was tiny. I'll always cry when I hear this song, but now he'd probably think I was a nerd. LOL
I would sing this to my unborn baby girl, throughout the pregnancy. We lost her right at the end, so I played this at her funeral - it's been almost 3 years, and my heart still breaks daily, wishing I could sing it to her now.
Now I sing it to my 1 year old son, and his eyes light up. God gives us heartache, so the good things can be that much more beautiful.

Also some reborns are quite cheap. I have one I got from my mother and it cost 150 bucks. We even got payments.
My baby, Jaina Rose, was born yesterday (2/15/11) via C-section. Last night, both her mommy and I were too exhausted to sing to her. Tonight though, this will definitely be used as a lullaby for her. I hope she enjoys this song as much as most other little ones I have known. :-)

To all the Mom's who have lost their children, I cannot even imagine the pain it brings! God has blessed me with 3 beautiful, healthy children and I thank him every day! They are my world, I can't imagine who I'd be without them. My oldest is 15 now, my youngest is 20 months, I've sung this song to all 3 of them through the years and hope that I'll have many, many more years to continue singing it to them and that I will live long enough to one day sing it to my grandchildren.

@kk051207 .I had been pregnant 11 times and I had given up, but then I prayed and prayed some more and God restored my faith. I found out that I had Celiac disease and that because of the celiac, my antibodies where higher than normal and causing the losses. Four months after I got my antibodies back to normal and stayed away from the foods that are toxic to me, I got pregnant and delivered a beautiful boy. I'm 38 and I pray that God will bless you as he did me. Faith

This song makes me cry everytime I listen to it. Mine though are a good, but bittersweet cry. My little girl was not supposed to make it past 28 weeks if she lived at all and by the grace of God she made it to 33 weeks 1 day and was 2lbs 9 oz. She did amazing and was one of the smallest babies to leave the NICU at 3lbs 6oz. It was the hardest thing to do to leave her in the hospital every night and this song became hers, I even bought her a Dumbo stuffed animal and had it in her isolette.

I would sing this to my unborn baby girl, throughout the pregnancy. We lost her right at the end, so I played this at her funeral - it's been almost 3 years, and my heart still breaks daily, wishing I could sing it to her now.

@taragamet It may be their choice to take their babies in public but it's also a choice to call them things like demented and creepy. What do you think is worse to carry a doll like a real baby or to harass someone and make them feel bad simply because you decide you don't like what they are doing.
Also some reborns are quite cheap. I have one I got from my mother and it cost 150 bucks. We even got payments.
