Beagles are wonderful! They have a mind of their own. They don't bark all the time, it is just that when they do you know it. Mine don't bark all that much except at sirens-- so long as you don't encourage them

I have a Beagle who is a rescue dog. He can get loud when he's excited... other then that he's the best dog ever. If you haven't gotten your dog yet check out the rescue organizations in your area.... there are probably beagle specific ones.

Beagles are a great dog. We had a male (Max) and now a female (Molly) It was easy to get Max wound up and just as easy to calm him. Molly though is a walking teddy bear! She follows you wherever you go and lays down and snuggles up next to you. Max would do the same thing at the end of the day, but was more dependent.

Sometimes they get even wilder. I love it lol. Mine was so cute when she was a pup. So well trained too. But she's old now. About 13 years old in human years. But she still goes wild over a tennis ball lol.

Lol my beagle still does that at 6 years old. His record for destroying a toy is 15 seconds. Thats why his only toy left right not is a super thick rope, thats 3/4 chewed through..
