Great playing and nice audio on your video. Trying to work out this tune myself. The speed and clarity of your playing help a lot. Not a 100% note for note version but I like the way you inject YOUR personality into the song and I am sure Jorma would be more than pleased.

@DoctorSapperstein Thank you! I have bin playing this since high school. Learned it wrong from the record. Learned it better from DVD and at Jormas camp in Ohio the Fur Peace Ranch. Still working on it! I've learned so much from slowed down versions on videos that my brain thinks that is the right speed I think. Stuff just stays that way. Feels like a 33 at 45 if I play faster.

I should go before Jorma retires it - he's 70 now after all.

I aske dhim why he stopped doing Police Dog Blues and he said he was having arthritis and couldn't really pull it off that well anymore :(

@FRIPNENO I'd say that you have thrown some interpretation on it.....however it's good interpretation. Reminds me a bit of Peter Green's feel on his slower songs.
