i think what echeo might have meant was, it got a bot too depressing at times, i mean the depressing feeling is supposed to be there but it should cover the fun atmosphere of a game at any time.
watching the preview of borderlands was cool, but now they have made it a kiddies game from makin g it cartoon, i mean WTF a game with evry possiblitie and they make it a cartoon, look at fallout 3, its basically the same base as borderlands and people LOVE it because its NOT cartoon!
Just because it's cartoon based does not mean it's a cartoon. Check the ESRB, the game is rated M (Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language).
And besides, I thought Fallout 3 was boring. They went for an uber realistic route, and everything in that game looked dead and grey and depressing. At least here the colors look bright and interesting.
thats cool don't buy it, when i get my copy i'll go in and start shooting heads off and watch the blood shoot out of their decaptitated bodies and get something electric based which will shock their skin right off showing only the skull as the mob pulses in agony still standing before he doubles over into a nasty pile. but ya its definetly a kiddies game, fucking idiot.
