  • What a NIKON beast!! i have one and i love it :P Great for time-lpase photography. i just need to trigger it for time-lapse with this little remote TEMPUS. works with MEX 5, 5N and 7. website at: tempus.bymac.org

  • When did you buy it?

  • wow Oh my Gosh this is the camera of my dream nikon d700 :)!!

  • Instead of the 8 aa batterys you can use an en-el4(a) battery to obtain the same amout of fps. cheers

  • Can the next video be of you dropping the D300 from a building and then doing a shoot with it? :)

  • d7000 vs d700 ?

  • @estrm d700 is a much more "professional camera, its the 2nd or third best camera from nikon, it has full frame sensor, on the other hand the d700 is an intro dslr

  • Hi Mr Dom. What focusingmode are you using for those snowboarding photos? I mean 51-3D, 51-point, 21-point or 9-point dynamic, with or without lock-on in AF-C?

  • @70Perra just use wide angle get hyperfocal distance and lock in.

  • Dom those snowboarding pictures are amazing, how on earth do you do that

  • @Defictionalize the details are in my book, but i have also done a video on how to edit the photos once taken, just type in snowboarding or skiing into the search bar on my channel

  • You can change out the battery cover of the MB-10 with a Nikon BL-3 battery chamber cover; this way you can use the larger Nikon EN-EL4a lithium battery (11.1v 2500mAH) instead of AA's and the smaller Nikon EN-EL3e battery (7.4v 1500mAH).

  • You should mention that D700 can continue shooting 8fps (with battery pack) even in 14-bit RAW mode. Whereas D300 will slow down to ~3fps. Huge deal if one shoots RAW, as one should.

  • I want to upgrade to FF from my d300s but would wait for the d800 to get out after which the prices for the 700 would drop dramatically

  • how do you feel about d3 or d3s

  • What's better Nikon D7000 or Canon 7D. Or is it personal preference?

  • @TheMichaelMedia personal preference, as always when it comes to Nikon vs Canon questions ;) If someone tells you the opposite, he or she is a fanboy/girl!

  • I sold D7000 to buy D700 and I'm liking it alot. Some people will say D7000 matches D700, I just don't see it. Even though it is older camera, but having full frame is just something else. My pictures are sharper than ever when viewed at 100%.

  • Awesome dom! once again,Hell im still using my D-80 and was waiting until next year for my D7000.But you got me on this one D-700 all the way.........Thanx

  • oooooohhh there it goes ! lol

  • love the videos by the way keep it up...!

  • does making the face help while your shooting 8fps? :)

  • would you say, wait for d800 or get an used d700.

  • @ny1fanta I would say get the Canon 5d mark 2

  • @Dombowerphoto oh really? O.o???

    I'm shocked!!!

  • @Dombowerphoto Noooooo!

  • @Dombowerphoto but the mk 3 is on the way as well^^

  • @Dombowerphoto why do you prefer 5d mrk 2 over the d700 or the possible d800?

  • @yooist if i didnt have lots of nikon stuff i would get the canon, it has video, i like video. but if your not into video and you want faster fps etc then get the nikon

  • @Dombowerphoto thanks Dom

  • @Dombowerphoto 5d mark 2 have a decent sensor with very good color. however the autofocus kinds sucks. so depend on his need. right?

  • @wertuiking it actually doesn't suck! A lot of people are able to take pictures with it. Of course the D700 has better Autofocus in comparison no doubt at all, but a lot of people make it look like with the 5d mk ii you could only take pictures in manual focus....

  • @ny1fanta - if your current camera does what YOU need, don't buy a new body at all (or at least wait for the D800). If the D700 doesn't something you NEED that your current body won't, buy the D700. If you need/want video...and want to buy all new lenses...buy a Canon 5d2.

  • @ny1fanta I would say get a used D700 if you want to shoot without flash in lowlight situations. I had a 5D Mark II for a couple of weeks in june, and pictures taken with ISO higher than 800-1600 generates so much noise that the pictures will be useless in my opinion. My D3s is much better then any Canon's in regards of noise. I bought the 5D II because the store I prefer were out of stock of the D700.

  • @ny1fanta wait for d800

  • Nice to see the D700 still stacks up nicely, even against the brand new cameras coming out these days. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

  • Great Camera Dom! You'll use it the way it was meant to be used.. I just FINALLY picked up my D7000 today, so I can learn along with you :) Great Videos Dom, a couple are a little strange :) but that's cool... Don't change!! :)

  • I am looking for this one! Will buy the d700 but some feedback from you will be much appreciated. Cheers

  • Love listening to your videos. Just wanted to let you know and to say thanks.

  • I have a question, are the photos from the full-sensor camera bigger than the photos from a crop sensor? Are the photos from the D700 bigger and with more detail than the photos from the D7000 that is 16MP but it has a crop sensor?

  • 1st :)

  • @mehmetnayal 1st to comment last to get laid.
