I'am French and I adore Deleuze and Mille Plateaux so I can subtitle it but how?

Its interesting that despite the fact that all his writings are available in English translation and the fact there have been hundreds of books written on Deleuze in the English language, add to this the fact "Deleuzian studies" has become almost an academic brand...put all this together and its almost astonishing there are so few videos of him actually speaking with english subtitles. This was up in 2008 and two years later still no-one has volunteered!

I'm not english nor french but i speak both languages. This video needs subs because the sound quality makes it impossible to understand what he is saying. These subs should be in english so that all enlightened people in the world can understand.

It's time for the french people to loose their grip on the french language as something more important or different than italian or swedish. Sure your mother's tongue language is special to you but as for communication with other nationalities, speak fucking english!

Id love to be there. Some anglophone guys here are right, this video should have subtitle in english too to share it with all people (as english is a language very popular). While I think it is helpful for speakers of many languages to have english subtitles, as a native speaker of english, I recommend to the petulant anglophones... study french to enjoy this video, or buy his books in translation. Thank you for uploading this.

Most english speakers allways think translation is due to them. When you're a dutch speaker you have to learn languages if you want to learn thinkings...

One more thing... Is philosophy translatable?

I don't think so, and even more for french philosophy

I agree, but everyone should be able to understand each other and what they are saying! subtitles and translation of language help this. Plus English is used almost everywhere, French is not. That is not a defense of the English language, which although my native tongue, I find to be a brutish and incomplete bastardization of older and richer languages. Anyway I understand the hate for Americans, just keep in mind we are all trying to advance in our mind...also FUCK CAPITALISM!
