  • Actually, you cant blame the director for no chemistry in the love triangle. there was no chemistry in the book.

  • i havent seen the movie but i like the humour in their reviews

  • How is it that two total idiots got a job reviewing movies? You two are haters or dont have a dang clue what a great movie is! Would you know good movie if i slapped you in the face with the script? Learn your job an how to review a great movie or get a job that you can do. May i suggest something for you both? Crash test dummies or testing new drugs so the poor lab rats can live a better life!!

  • i've only seen the beginning so far. but i don't buy robert's accent, or his acting much, either.

  • Agreed with this review - you can tell the director used to be a video director, because the cinematography was beautiful, but everything else just kind of fell flat. The dialogue was, at times, laughably bad.

In other news, something about Ellen Fox continues to inexplicably irritate me.

  • HUNKY HUNKY HUNKPANTS

  • You guys...suck at reviewing. I guess you were trying to dumb it down.

This was a very complex story that is set in a very different decade than is ours. I was very disappointed with how modernized the story became in the film. I was hoping for a true testament to the book. With that said, I thought the actors brought their best. I think Christoph Waltz is brilliant. No one could have combined the role of Uncle Al and August as well.

Anyone who hasn't already, read the book! You'll love it!

  • uaua RT onn current improved a hell lot.

  • Water for Elephants... who in the world watch a movie with that title. SRSLY

  • What utter rubish. Look at the era, Rpatz's acting was appropriate for the time of the film. Dignified in harsh conditions. And the direction was focused. Reese played joy in depression well. Loved this beautiful film. The only think rotten is the tomatoes review. And i am not a cougar or a twi hard, just a film buff who wants value for money and I have never left the cinema wanting my time back from a Rpatz movie.

  • LOL hunky-hunky-hunk-pants :D

  • I pretty much agree. It wasn't terrible, but okay. Meh. Plus, they axed a lot of what the book had. And Reese's wig was very...wiggy. Rpatz did suck. Sorry. I think he's only considered a great actor in the Twi-universe by the rabid tweens and cougars. I couldn't believe how bad he was. I should have known better.

  • this was a great movie. so sad and deep. like really

  • this was the best movie and robert p. was amazing i understand have opinions.... come on....... be a little nicer at lest. sorry this was redic

  • The move was beautiful and the movie was amazing. You guys clearly dont know what your saying

  • brett & ellen, What summer movies are you guys most excited for?

  • This is so upsetting. I loved the book, it was beautiful. So sad that the movie is a hunk of elephant poo. Also Robert Pattinson . . . . icky.

  • @HabaneroHero

    I agree.

  • you guys should talk about Game of Thrones.

  • you guys are wearing the same shirt :P

  • ellen looks so fucking awkward when she's not talking

  • I enjoyed it, but I also read the book, so that might have helped.

  • No way I'd ever go near Christoph Waltz's lady. You want to DIE??

  • Yall are getting unsubscribed... yall really tore that movie a new one, and it got a 57%. Id hate to see u review a movie that got 5%

Yall are getting way too harsh...

  • @meb025 implying the only videos current produces are rotten tomatoes movie reviews.

  • Water for Elephants for vampires! Terrible acting on the part of Robert Pattinson!

  • You know, it would be nice if you brought the Rotten Tomatoes TV show back. I miss it.... :(

  • Fun Fact: Reese Witherspoon can cut through metal with her chin. If you don't believe me so search it up

  • @sovrcat HOW DARE THEY HATE WHAT I LOVE

    that's you

  • @sovrcat R u talking about RT show or Ebert presents?

  • *cough* Harry Potter *cough* Anyone remember that?

  • shit movie

  • @mintaddiction God forbid anyone have a different opinion than you.

  • @mintaddiction lol....y would u feel insulted by a review???

  • I knew they'd ruin one of my favorite books. Oh well...

  • So Ellen and Brett finally made up.

  • This show is so much better than Ebert Presents. The two presenters on that show sound so conceited and arrogant and stupid. Ellen Fox is the shit

  • why water bucket? why not peanuts?

  • wait great actors??? i saw only one good actor and she doesn't have a penis

  • @vanchai1 since when is reese witherspoon a better actor than Christoph Waltz?

  • @sfael37leafs since cruel intentions

  • i see one great actor, a ok actor and...robert pattinson. enough said

  • It's disheartening to me, as a fan of the book, that this film seems to be just a shell of the original work. All the beauty of the setting, but none of the heart that it became famous for.

  • but it looks so preeeeeeeeetty

  • 2nd comment

  • @TheAwsome3138 fail
