i spent alll day watching ur videos!!!!!! its amaz\ing what ur doing keeep up the good work man!!!! u seeem to be so calmmm man and it looks peacefull
@FernandoAcastro1 Thanks amigo glad you enjoyed them. I was out filming more today, and have already posted a new one. Now that your caught up it wont be so time consuming to stay updated. I'm not always calm and peaceful, but I try to be.
I used a the bike on the kickstand side and almost any thing else that was stable. It had to be really tight though because the bike is not that tall. Just a suggestion. Love the hammock though. Yours is waay nicer than mine.
@dyna98rider Yeah I might try that next time, it would make for some great photos anyway. Check out ENO hammocks. Pricey, but they are nice. The one in the video is the ENO DoubleNest, big enough for 2 people. Makes it great for just one person, so much room to stretch out. I did a write about them on my blog.
I've been wanting to give a hammock a try for a while. The problem for me is sometimes its hard finding places with trees or poles to use. In the desert SW, its kind of hit or miss on the tree availability. I like the idea of not being on the ground. I get tired of crawling in and out of tents.
@dahveed284 I actually had to look around for a spot, and I was in the jungle. I thought about trying to hang it between 2 motorcycles, but I'm sure it would be to low. But there may be a way to get on motorcycle, and one tree to work.
Ryan, you seem truly happy to be where you are and what you are. Can there be a better measure of success? Rob from Vancouver. PS: Yes, a video about doing laundry would be nice.
@RobKelly63 I was watching this video and thinking...He reminds me of a combination of Les Stroud from Survivorman and RobKelly63 from Youtube....Hahaha
@HOTOjake I was in an Engineering unit. My MOS was electrician. I spent most of my time on deployments to Central America on humanitarian missions. There are some videos on this account of one of those deployments. Search for a playlist called "Beyond the Horizon Deployment."
@j25ack This isn't a trip it's my life. I life in Panama, and am documenting my travels around this country. But I may head up to Costa Rica and other places.
I second that. I'd also like to know more about the mosquito net. I had heard about the crescent-shaped mossie nets for use with hammocks but I don't know where to get one.
@BillyDillweed This is an ENO hammock and they have all sorts of accessories for them. Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner I would have pointed you in the right direction.
