Yeah, with 118hp, in fifth gear, the rev breaks up at 5950 RPM. The fuel is stopped. You can see this in the actual fuel meter. In 1.18 its going down to 11 l.
Maybe you´re speedometer is not adjusted or you´re tires hav got an other size. Or you´re car is modified.
@ginjopowder He started the car, unplugged it and then threw out of the engine bay.That way he saved some weight to be faster. As well no unnescessary liquids, like windshieldwasher are not present :D
What i don`t know is, why he ran on full tank? That is a total loss of weight, because if you this far with weight lifting, you should have only that much fuel to get from gas station to gas station :)
I know they can take the high revs all day but I do wish BMW would fit taller gearing. Only 33 kmh per 1000 rpm is low for a car with an unstressed 135 lb-ft that has peak power at 5,500 rpm.
