"the story opens on these misterious explosions, nobody knows whats causing them but it's upsetting all the buffalos, so the military are calling to solve the mistery"
how the FUCK this isn't released on DVD in Greece? The intro here alone is an INSTANT CLASSIC! You see bullshit tv series being released on DVD, yet this along with other classic movies (see Hitchcock) are lost forever.
@Epitaph6663 Well, to tell the truth, the movie originally had trouble being released in the US as well. Because of legal reasons concerning one of the extras, the disc had to be recalled within a few days of release, and wasn't re-released until months later. My friend actually paid $50 for a copy of the original release on ebay.
the funny part really is ... SHE DOES HAVE A FACE LIKE A HORSE!!! long and shaped like a horse. one of the ugliest and most OVERATED females in history.
i think this was made around Halloween because there is nothing shocking or scary or even heart stopping about this movie but i still LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!
@maddiegott- It's just a biography based on the life and career of Ed Wood, the director famous for making some of the worst movies ever made. There's maybe one or two sad moments and many funny moments, but it's mostly a biography.
@luigiblox Simply because Tim Burton can make a good film and Ed Wood couldn't. A good film about a bad filmmaker; that's the amazing irony of this film.
I remember long ago when they had a biography on the you guessed it Bio channel about Johnny Depp. So anyway they show his list of films he was in and I saw this weird one that was in black and white. I thought at the time it looked stupid and dumb and watched on for more classic Depp. In recent years I have grown to watch and love the AVGN guy(a.k..a James Rolfe) who in a couple of his episodes told me about Ed Wood. SO here I am watching Ed Wood. Thank you AVGN and Bio channel. :)
I like this movie and a lot of other Time Burton movies, such as Edward Scissorhands, which is my favorite movie aside from Titanic. :) Johnny Depp is my favorite actor of all time. I think Dakota Fanning is my favorite actress of all time for how good she is, and how good she is at such a young age!! I know, kind of off topic, but I had to put that out there. lol
@ExplodeThisBarNow How dare you....Johnny depp is one of the greatest actors that has ever lived and unlike most celebrities Johnny Depp is not obsessed with his looks or what people think of him...He is not self obsorbed and Unlike some people...always has a good word for people...And he is very hot,but that is beside the point

@APPLESAUCE50 Honour ed? Yeah, but mainly for his persistence and determination on his films, rightly so. Insult him? No, but it does jab fun at him for his incompetence as a director in general. That's why he's a cult icon.
Now THIS is the movie Ed Wood would've wanted to be remembered for. As long as we watch them, remember them, remember him... remember all his friends... Edward D. Wood, Jr.
This Film is a total classic,it's such a pity that it was totally overlooked by the Public.
Although I do believe it did get one very well deserved Oscar ,I think Martin Landau
