well, if manufacturers would stop putting all those standby power supplies in everything and use a DPDT power switch at the power (mains) entry to each of those wall-warts, TV sets, and other appliances, as was nearly always done on the past, it would acomplish the savings this video chides viewers about. I have no objection to the big red switch as we used to see on old IBM computers.
