@LimitPushing there is a big difference between big engines and small engines. Just today I beat one s60 on the high way . I have BMW with 3.0 6 cylinder so the volvo engine performed poorly on high speeds. I passed him like he was standing still.

Passat 1.8t does it in 8.9 seconds also. thats a MASSIVE difference.

The offical time for this mid range 2.5t volvo is 6.8 seconds.

The 2.3 T5 does it in 6.3

S60r does it in 5.5 with AWD.

i know this car the S60 T5 model me too..

and :

1st - it is not 260hp but 250hp

2sd - Its time for a 0-60 mhp is around 7s yes

& it is a very good time actually for the big weight of this car!!

250hp with a Turbo yes but a big weight also : 1450kg around !!! (3197 lbs for you)

For a short run on a flat road like a 0-60 mph the main thing is THE RATIO "WEIGHT / POWER"

And for the S60 T5 the ratio is not very good and explain the time around 7s despite a nice engine

...
