Floetry is real tight, however it went down with Michael Jackson is of no matter, I personally like both their version, and Micheal's version. Floetry didn't write this song for Michael, they had it on their demo tape and Michael heard it and loved it. He asked if he could record it and they were part of his production of the song. Both version are beautiful!

Check MJ's Invincible label and you'll see that Natalie gets credit for this song. MJ blessed them by recording it and they did the background vocals. It was a top seller for the Invincible album and they got paid; it's a win-win situation.

I think michael jacksons, in comparison to floetrys lacks.. emotion? i'm not sure what word im looking for but its something akin to that. and as much as a legend as he is, and as great as his music is, i realised when i listened to his version that i dont actually like the tone of his voice all that much.

MJ was a great all round performer but as a teen, preteen and in his early 20s during the Off the Wall, Destiny and Triumph era he was really great and his singing had alot more "emotion" than the Bad, Dangerous, History, Blood on the Dancefloor or Invincible eras.

OK, to clarify this, marsha ambrosius and natalie stewart (then a member of floetry) wrote the song for michael's invincible album...invincible was originally slated to be released in 1999, but kept getting pushed back, so floetry recorded it themselves and put it on floetic in 2002...by the time michaels album released both versions ended up coming out around the same time
Well if Neyo wrote this, his name would be all over the credits. I have both Invisible and Floetic and the credits go to Ambrosius and Harris on both. Neyo isn't capable of writing a song of this complexity. Oh but he said it on 106 and Park? NVM 106 and Park is pretty credible for information concerning songwriting credits and what not....

Thankyou for getting the information right for a change. When michael did his version he didn't even change a thing not even the vocal arrangements. He must have liked it so much so he kept it exactly the same but with his vocals as addition. I love both versions of this the melody it so haunting. LURRRRVE ITT!!!

Does what you found out apply to the whole, entire, complete song--even the really high parts coming towards the end of it? The vocals on those parts are just....amazing!!! I love this song, too.

OK, to clarify this, marsha ambrosius and natalie stewart (then a member of floetry) wrote the song for michael's invincible album...invincible was originally slated to be released in 1999, but kept getting pushed back, so floetry recorded it themselves and put it on floetic in 2002...by the time michaels album released both versions ended up coming out around the same time

Well if Neyo wrote this, his name would be all over the credits. I have both Invisible and Floetic and the credits go to Ambrosius and Harris on both. Neyo isn't capable of writing a song of this complexity. Oh but he said it on 106 and Park? NVM 106 and Park is pretty credible for information concerning songwriting credits and what not....

floetry wrote a beautiful song and sung it nice too but Michael Jackson straight up made it his song when he sung it and hit them high notes so tight, this is my ALL TIME FAVORITE MJ SONG and love song!!
