@BoneLock58 First- the lines are SUPER long. Second, I was 13 and it was only my SECOND roller coaster ever and i didn't even scream, it wasn't even CLOSE to scary!

@6teenNikkiandJonesy well no offense, but lines should be expected and if its not scary that doesnt mean its not a good ride. Im sure many people would find a beyond vertical drop scary enough anyways.

to be honest i am disappointed in six flags over georgia... all these other parks have these huge mega coasters and six flags only has goliath that barely hits 200 ft., come on yall step your game up!!!

@dbfresh32 hey thx for that. i just came on here to ask is SIX FLAGS ANY GOOD? i went there in early 90's and wasn't real impressed back then, but that was awhile a go. My family lives near Atlanta but i haven't had any real desire to go back.  Can u give me some details? Do they have ANY Coasters worth going for? or even other rides? Thx.

@babycakesx123x DDD is really different and has it own unique qualities. I would say DDD is probably around the speed of MindBender and it's a pretty fun ride.

Rode DDD for the Media Day Preview today. Is it as smooth and quiet as it is here. Looks like the pause at the top has been removed. Not sure why, but I think it is fantastic just like it is.

@SuperGatorlover DDD is where the Drive-in Theatre and Shake Rattle and Roll were, located across for Dee-Jays Dinner. They left the Drive-In Theatre sign up with the Dippin Dots in it and rethemed the sign to follow with the whole DDD theme.

@FreshQueenz It's supposed to be as if you can going to a flight school to learn how to fly a stunt plane. When you go down the 1st hill you will go through hoops of "fire" that spray a very light mist (which is supposed to resemble smoke). You will go through some cone shaped poles with flags on them, do a bunch of twists & turns. Towards the end you will go through a building (that shoots mist at the entrance of it) & do one final complete spin/flip. I would advise you wait for the front seats

@FreshQueenz If you don't ride the front the first time, it kinda takes away from the thrill because the best view & atmosphere is in the front. I wouldn't say it's better than Goliath, but it is a really cool ride. It doesn't have the super high speeds & pull the G's Goliath does but this ride wasn't intended to really do any of that. It was intended to give you the illusion/thrill of becoming a test pilot & flying a stunt plane so DDD lives up to those expectations. Have fun and Go Big!

DDD gets going pretty good and the best place to ride is in the front. The later in the day you ride it, everything starts running faster and is more intense. FYI, when riding DDD, you have to let yourself be loose and just relax, it adds to the thrill. Hope you guys all enjoy it!

It's a bit slower than i think they originally thought it would be. Its probably beacuse there are no humans or water canister testers to weitgh it down

@Mabrucify Read my comment in reply to cavy92 about Mindbender... and the brake on Goliath (I take it you're talking about the one right after the helix) is also a trim brake. Superman also has 2 Trim brakes. These brakes are used to slow down a fast moving train if the track is wet etc. Think of it like this, Trains can stop at Mid Course Brakes & then start back and continue the course. If a train stopped at the trim brake on Goliath, how would it continue since its at the BOTTOM of the helix?

@cavy92 Not exactly... Mindbender has 2 trim brakes which slow the train down if its moving too fast. These are different than Mid Course Brakes. Normally larger coasters have Mid Course Brakes, examples - Nitro, The Incredible Hulk, Chang aka Green Lantern, Bizzaro, Scream!, etc. If you watch those youtube video's you'll see the difference between the mid course brakes on those and the 'trim' brakes on Mindbender.
