  • i was just researching this song and came across this remix? they did remixs in the 60s haha shame sounds like the original....typical old white people haha cant remix nothing shame haha

  • This amazed me.. i didn't actually they took songs from us African Americans so much back then this is the 5th time this week ive heard about this bull crap... now im pissed off. And they sound like constipated people.

  • @MizzCandii996 They didn't take songs from African Americans; they embraced them. They helped (though minimally) the light shine on African American groups and singers in the 50's and 60's. Groups like The Supremes, The Four Tops, The Temptations and all other Motown groups had major hits in this era, and though their songs were legally paid for and re-released with other bands, such as the Four Seasons, they still received most of the credit. Get your facts right before you start spewing hate.

  • @MizzCandii996 shut the fuck up

  • ja waarom worden wij verliefd?????? geen idee je wordt toch steeds teleur gesteld super trustfull

  • This was a great song to jitterbug to, with a hop step in the beat. I have danced many a times to this great Happy song ~

  • HUH, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT VERSION

  • love them :D someoen needs to put there veriosn of peanuts on here, that would be awesome!

  • now this is real music!

  • sounds so blah, guess they really needed to try something

  • i wonder if frankie heard about this he was alive at the time

  • this is back when they used to release different, tamer versions of songs to appeal to white people. little did they know that white people liked the originals just fine.

  • This is definative. Frankie be damned!

  • Booooo! Are you kidding me? Why do fools listen to this version? Holy studio mix Batman! Could you put anymore chorus on Valli's vocals? Actually, please do, if it were a clean mix we would be subject to his true voice. And who wrote the bop shoo da da's? Please fire him!

  • *frankie

  • Franky lymons version is better...

  • @lilpimp467 I agree.

  • Going back to this time sounds good, but don't forget, this was just before bullshit Vietnam. Boys and men died, at lot of them.

  • @cameronblanca wtf has this got to do with anything?

  • @Zaarin2007 Can't you read?

  • of course white guys redid what a group of purto ricans and blacks did. ahh the sweet smell of the segregated 1950's and 60's.

  • @TheMegacurly1

The Four seasons never claimed that they did the original or that they wrote the song. Furthermore, this was only an album cut and was never released as a single.

  • frankie didnt write the song....he just sung it...back than alot of music wasnt writin by the singer...but frankie lymons song is way better...they was good for redoing songs that black ppl did first....

  • @jacquel12376 actually Frankie Lymon did write it along with herman santiago and george goldner. i think that frankie and the teenagers version is way better

  • @jacquel12376 well nevermind technically he didn't write it but he does have the song rights

  • Makes me want to get up and dance :)

  • @HelgeOldieGuy867

    Wow. Extremely dumb comment.

  • My Dad use to tell me don't fall in love cause you will only get hurt. He taught me to be cold blooded if I had to be. I am not cold blooded but I can keep those dudes at a distance. I was a waitress and bartender. I had to lose guys when I drove home from work all the time.

  • @Mineretta2012 I guess that's a good thing,But if the right dude ever comes along you could push him away.Just saying :)

  • @Cullyy1989 I have the right dude now and have been with him for 17 years.

  • Great song

  • white people stilling again! why do fools fall in love was written by Frankie Lymon

  • @tns31091 They are called covers.

  • @tns31091 Great example bud. Nice spelling.

  • @tns31091 Not sure what "Stilling" Is.....Frankie did not write the song.....In fact, my ...race minded little friend...It was a white man......If you love Doo Wop......Can read better than you can spell....Go and find out for yourself...........By the way, this is in no way to down play Frankie Lymon........He was beyond fantastic.

  • 9 of the people who watched this are fools who fell in love.

  • I could die for this woooo aaaaah woooo aaaah dadadadadada :P

  • classic

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT! MY GOD

  • @Neptunz05 Why do you have to react if you don´t like it? Turn it off and leave us alone...I doubt you would ever make it better!!! And do not call god for help :-D

  • @845aleirbag I guess I shouldn't react to any video I see. Good call.

  • @Neptunz05 of course you can and should...I was just wondering, why do people write such things if they don´t like it. Go and write something nice about something you like. ;-) have a nice day ;-)

  • NOBODY could sing this song like Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers. And I am white! But they do a fair job for a cover version. Also in the 6 or so years since the original came out, recording techniques had improved. In the 50's the Flamingos recorded "I Only Have Eyes For You". That was written in the 1930's by a white man. Is that "stealing?" I don't think so.

  • I just don't understand what more blks want. They dominate in sports and entertainment. We have a blk president. White women hate white men and love black men. All TV commercials depict a smart blk man in charge and a stupid white man who acts like an idiot. What MORE do blks want?

  • @bradentonguy50 a- freaking-men!

  • @bradentonguy50 HOLY SHIT!! You/re such an idiot!...lol...Go cry somewhere else!

  • I laugh at the scene in "Dreamgirls" where the guy says that Elvis just stole "Hound Dog" from Big Mama Thornton as if to say "the whites are stealin' blk music again." That song was written by 2 white guys! The lyrics of the original prove it was intended to be sung by a female. Elvis' version is a stupid adaptation of the song and sucks. But the original was RnB written by whites.

  • It is true that in many cases white cover versions outsold originals done by blks. BUT, there are many cases where the song was WRITTEN by whites. "Hound Dog" was written for Big Mama Thornton by 2 whites and then covered by Elvis. Same 2 whites wrote "Kansas City" which is widely thought to be written by blks. Leiber & Stoler wrote both songs!!

  • Awe man.. Like the best song ever.. Makes me wanna slick my hair back and roll up my sleeves. ;-)

  • Its not a bad version, Not better then Lymons though.

  • I loved it. Please don't take this off!

  • before I come here I bet there are many white racist on here

  • @remedave my best friend is black so ya....

  • @50sfan14 hmmm really

  • @remedave That comment is really daft

  • Best version of the song is this one, personally.

  • @timmy3679 the beach boys version wipesout the 4 seasons

  • @timmy3679 yeah right sure you must be white

  • @remedave Do we have an issue?

  • @timmy3679 besides the original both great.

  • @this is when we loved our parents and god,and we had real fun.and a future, life was good and we loved the good old usa. what happend we lost respect for our selves. and dont blame the government, we the people voted them in.but we can bring it back,we dont have to go to church, just do what jesus said ,love our neighbour as we would have them love us.its up too us lets bring back values too what we had. sepri fi

  • @MrScotty1944 I agree with what you say. Only thing I hope you do not mind is that when you say God or Jesus, Please capitalize the first letter of thsoe words. Thanks you for your service.

  • I really miss the days of real music Rock or Country.

  • thumbs up if you player Mafia 2!!

  • damn, i want to travel to 1947-1960's America. :(

  • @Deathuntneki4 make sure your not black ;)

  • @666JESUSWILLBURN666 yeah, i'm not black...

and your nickname is ...kind of ... funny.

I'm an atheist, so i don't care really , but still...

  • @Deathuntneki4 aren't you lucky :)

  • @666JESUSWILLBURN666 why am i lucky? is there something wrong with black people at this moment?

  • @Deathuntneki4 hehe what isn't wrong that's the question

  • @Deathuntneki4 Can I come with?

  • @melondoggy sure! :D but you need to wait like 10 years or more, because the time machine isn't ready yet...by-the-way it's just a theory. <:/

  • @Deathuntneki4 lol silly theories...

  • @melondoggy yup ?;(

  • @Deathuntneki4

    im black so i cant

  • @Deathuntneki4 Then you must not be black! :P

Great music back then, not so great socially :D

  • @Deathuntneki4 Can I come too?

  • @thesavedone1 Surely!

  • @Deathuntneki4 i definTELY WOULD LOVE TO GO Bck in time to this erra i wish i was born to be able to grow up in this erra. sadly i was born in 1994

  • I like this better than the original !

  • actually this song is originated by ella fitzgerald right ?

  • @l0verbaby03 franky lymon

  • @l0verbaby03 Frankie Lymon wrote this song.

  • i like this kinda music, so happy. not about money and sex. those times just seemed so happy and cool!!

  • they should have never sung this song, its all about frankie

  • @oceana56 frankie lymon or frankie valli?

  • @greaserman44 frankie lymon

  • is the 4 seasons a hotel?

  • @rockinlikklexi700

No it was a bowling alley. Frankie Valli and his band members got the idea of naming their band 'four seasons' when playing a gig at a bowling alley with the name.

  • frankie valli and the four seasons sang it great!!! its just that this is a frankie lymon and the teenagers song. thats why it seems better

  • Not too bad.

  • WTF ?! This is terrible. Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers version 1,000,000X better.

  • A great cover of the song. Beach boys also did a cover.

  • "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" is a song that was originally a hit for early New York City-based rock and roll group Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers in 1956.

  • Lol Im WitH Black Ice.... FrANKy Lymon Version 10x BeTTer

  • blackice, WHITE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @blackice9119 Learn from MJ, Michael Jackson. Grow up! A person can not help what colour they are born.

what you are saying is no better than a person not liking someone just because he or she is black.

Stop acting like an asshole when ye got in you to be a good person.

  • @blackice9119 fag

  • @blackice9119 ur just mad that u didnt get ur fried chicken and kool aid today, ull feel better =)

  • @50sfan14 shut up and enjoy this bad version

  • @remedave This is a great version. You are jealous

  • @calimar28 i never siad it wasnt good but it has no soul for you to compare the two makes you jealous

  • @remedave "It has no soul" sounds like a lame excuse for the original being outdone by The Four Seasons' version

  • @geronimo1234567890 yeah sure and wesley's snipes isnt black. lol

  • @remedave Sorry dude, this version's just better. Frankie Valli's vocals are richer and more full of life, and the doo-wops are tighter on this version. Deal with it.

  • @geronimo1234567890 ok so the original artist can never be match except when a black person is the case I get it now .

  • @remedave

explain 2 me why white people always try to out due blacks

    example

u stole frankies song and gave it to some generic white boys

u stole joe frasier story and gave rocky balboa

u stole a boxing match from huricane carter when the white guy only hit him four times but still won the fight

u tried to steal our freedom but u couldnt so u stole the life of martin luther king

u sent 25mil blacks to vitenam about something that wouldnt effect us

need i go on i have a list

  • @JUSTME543212345 the answer is simple white people hate black people. Everything you listed here is in fact the truth.

  • @JUSTME543212345 LOL I cant believe a song by Frankie Valli has got a racial reaction! LOL the people on these sites are so crazy.....

  • @JUSTME543212345

hey dude take a breath if we sent 25 million blacks toto viet nam why are so many still here?

and we never stole frankies songs he is credited as the originator of the song even the he didnt write it he copied it and slavery been over for along time dude way before your mom and pops screwed to get your dumbass and to make my point clear to you YOUR BLACK presib=debt trying to copy all othe white pres b4 him and he failing big time

  • @JUSTME543212345

you mully's multiply like fuckin rabbits. of course that woudnt effect the black population

  • @greaserman44 fuck you wops

  • @JUSTME543212345 25 million blacks to 'Nam... No way. There was only 198,712,056 total population in the whole US at that time. So Johnson and Nixon following him, teamed up and collectively sent 13% of the whole country to SE Asia. And all those were black male conscripts? The entire black US population as of 1 July 2009 was only 41.8 million making up 13% of the 300 million or so total population. Take a step closer to that history book next time you try to read it.

  • @JUSTME543212345 While you're checking your list of stuff mean ol' whitie has done to blacks, you might want to look at the position blacks are in today and the position "knee-gruhs" were in prior to 12 April 1861. Seems like an awful lot white devils went running way down South and killed their their kin folk to deliver the black man from bondge. National Guard troops were deployed many occassions to protect black rights to vote and to obtain an advanced education. So it ain't all that bad.

  • @JUSTME543212345

Yeah because no one else has ever covered a black singers song and maybe if you actually had a GLIMPSE into the music industry you might know that you get whatever song they tell you to sing. I dont see you on little anthony and the imperials ranting about their cover why oh wait because their black! Not just white people covered this song.

  • @JUSTME543212345

Stealing? Did Frankie Valie ever claim that he wrote the song?

  • good job

  • I love this! ;]

  • Of course the original is better, as it usually IS!But the Seasons did a nice job here.

  • Agree, I like this cover the most. As you say the original is usually better than covers. Well, this is almost false when the one doing the cover is Frankie Lymon!

Check Lymon's cover of Paul Anka - Diana. Or his version of silhouettes. That blessed voice did better covers than the original versions (To me, of course :-)

  • @thebigfist No, I would even contest that. Lymon's version is fine, but this one bests it for me.

  • This isn't bad at all.

Thanks for posting. Great to hear another version.

  • if you take this video off ill kill you

  • @shadowss9 lol

  • @shadowss9 Seems fair to me!

  • cool version i like the 4 seasons but frankie lymons the orginal version written by frankie n herman santiago teenagers at that,, was better then this version even thou i like this one better then the diamonds one

  • Very good version with this group. It´s incredible about Frankies voice, because he´s self-taught. Wonderful voice.

  • one of the best songs ever frankie is still alive 8948204

  • They did this song great,

  • Good love the seasons but not done as well as the original by the late great Frankie Lymon RIP FRANKIE

  • great song and a great group...Only Elvis sold more records in the sixties than "The Seasons"..Thanks for posting...

  • The seasons sold 100 million elvis 2 billion

  • umm, there was this little band out of England called the Beatles that sold more than both of them together. (don't make me prove it). In any case, I like both the 4 Seasons and Elvis.

  • the beatles sold 500 million [ the 4 seasons and the beach boys may have grossed more money than the beatles who stopped performing as a group when others played more stadium concerts ]

  • haha a little band

  • Beatles.

    10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000!

  • oooops..........
