  • Yes , the electrification system of Kowloon-Canton Railway was built in late 1970S , when Hong Kong was still a colony of Great Britain .

  • Also when the stations on the Lo Wu Line were reconstructed in the late 1970s they were built to the look of those British National Railway stations. But since 1998, with the corporatization of the KCRC, some station fittings have been modified to the current status.

  • 估唔到直通車會咁密!

  • 當羅湖線未來幾年多番改革之後,班次相信會更加頻密。

  • SS8! This is the first time I see it in Hong Kong! Are they regular visitors?

  • Yes , starting from 2008 . They hual the Beijing/Shanghai Express from Goungzhou to Hong Kong and return . Thank you .

  • The SS8 was once used in the Guangzhou-Kowloon Intercity Express (SS8-0067, with specific equipment for use on the Lo Wu Line in addition to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Line). But after a year or so it was reverted to DF11 hauling, up to the present.

P.S. What do you mean by 'MOR' here?

  • MOR , the offical short form of China Ministry of Railway .

  • Thank you....
