I am nauseous when a band who I've been following since 2006-2007 does a commercial with blatant advertisement plugs. I want to blame the economy or Miracle Whip or Seal Team Six, but alas, it's a band I've waited in line to see for 4 hours at the Casbah in San Diego 3 years ago. I feel like I've been cheated on right now. The worst part is, the infidelity is not a definite dealbreaker. I have boundary issues.

Oh come on! Bands have been doing this for sixteen years! It's great exposure! After Neil Young, Mr. anti-commercial quasi socialist did it, the barrier was broken. In todays music world, commercials are, like it or not, at the moment the best way to get your music heard. Plus, most of the directors and producers who now film commercials, used to do music videos.

PS. When I called Mr. Young "anti-commercial quasi socialist", that wasn't meant as an insult.... it's who he is.
