  • 你是华人么?

  • Very nice!

  • Beautiful!

  • Great job!! You play really well :) I've always wanted to play a harpsichord but haven't gotten the chance yet :(

  • Just learned a few lines and a question: Your e matches my e flat (while carrying a whistle from the computer to the [digital] piano) Is this how a harpsichord is to be tuned? Beautiful nonetheless. 0:29-0:32 gives me shivers. Tanx.

  • Hi, thanks for these nice comments, I checked that site and you are right for the bwv 937, however if you learn from there take care since the midi has many errors.

As for the tuning some harpsichords are tuned that way because it is the ancient way of tuning (I also did not know, another friend from here told me) and for the part you mentioned I think you enjoyed a slow down in tempo.. best wishes

  • Thanks for posting this. Its very pretty.

I'm no expert, or even claim to know anything about classical music but the following link seems to match: find the 'Mutopia Project', then find J.S. Bach, then search for BWV 937. There is free sheet music and a midi file for confirmation. (ps. sorry if there's 5 posts by me here, I'm having difficulty posting)

  • Very well played. What is the BWV number ?

  • Thank you, I am sorry I don't know the bwv, but it is one of the little preludes.

  • wow how cool to have a real harpsichord!!

  • Well I don't have one...

  • lovely. . thank you! i love the harpiscord

  • Wow~nice job!! Do you have a harpsichord? I want to study but this instrument is so expenssive.

  • Thank you! Not really, no, I was in a conservatory located in Geneva, Switzerland. It was the first time I had the opportunity to play such instrument in my life. Probably the best way to learn is entering a course in one of these places.

  • Hey Rafael, it's so good to hear the harpsichord. Thanks for keeping it alive. Well done.
