Can't wait for everything!! Ya see, I'm from Sheppard AFB, TX.. snow 3-5 times a year.. 110 degrees in the summer. We will be there in 3 days!! We're in Fort Nelson atm
You did the right thing by backing up into the garage......ears back, head lowered and fur up on the back,,,he wasn't happy right there by the garage !!!
Miss the wildlife, summers and the folks there.
Was there from 1996-2000, spent some time as an MCA (military conservation agent) and worked at 11th Air Force.
I'll be there next this time next year, (unless I have to got ASBC first) I'll make sure I grab some hunting equipment, A moose that size looks like it would be some good eating!!!
So I just found your guys' channel, and I have to ask, is the other video in response to this one, buddy? You all practicing your small arms firing to deal with the local wildlife? Anyways, I hope you are all doing well. I miss hanging-out, playing cards, singing karaoke, and generally raising hell with you. -Dp
I'm glad you were cautious enough while filming the moose. A very common sight, although people forget that it's still dangerous. Definitely a deception; a docile-looking moose. I, too, was stationed there (late 90s)
Talk about a close encounter! Found this video while searching under EAFB... lived up there in the 90s and remember school not letting out (Aurora Elem.) because of moose or bear sightings. Only in Alaska! Hope you're enjoying the base as much as I did when I was a kid up there!

I miss that. At Ft Wainwright a momma and her two babies were always eating out of our trees in front of the house. Pretty cool

Actually...yes. Kim is freaking out about hiking with bear and moose, so I got the hand cannon. Was making sure Gage knows what it is/does.
