Like you said, they were like buddies, but even more than that, they were like brothers only the combination of the 5 of them could be responsible for writing all those GNR masterpeices such as "Don't Cry", "Rocket Queen", "Nightrain", "Patience", etc...making them one of the biggest bands of all-time.

These guys are good, the original were better.I was born after the break up and I would like to experience the original GNR I couldnt stand up for izzy or steven when they left because I wasnt born.

I do have to admit I am only 13 so I wasn't alive when the old lineup was around and I would have probably let what happened happen and not stand up because there was no way to change it. Izzy LEFT he did not get fired so a couple of fans wasn't going to change anything for him and Steven took lots of drugs so it is not possible.

If a reunion happens it will most likely be very boring because it would be very difficult for them to get along after what had happened(this mainly applies to slash and axl) so they would basically just stand on the stage the whole time playing instead of moving around as usual.

@bigsyke2 All i wanna say is that, Don't Cry was published in 1991, in Use Your Illusion I, and probably the lyrics were written before (there are some performances of this song in 1887), and Axl's personality, after 20 years and so many troubles (throad chirurgical operation, the curses of the fans, AND I'M NOT AMONG THOSE) has been probably changed and damaged (nowadays Axl suffers by decreases of self-esteem). So i think that what this song rappresents now for him doesn't link to what he felt
