@LyrebirdJacki : Thanks -- glad you enjoyed it. The music was custom created to fit the visuals through a videoediting program called Pinnacle. I hadn't thought of attaching a name to it, but I guess I'd have to call it "Dancing for Joy" obviously. The sight of wild whoopers dancing like that was certainly something that made me and my husband want to "dance with joy" as well. Hard to believe that someone shot and killed five whoopers this year -- sending them closer to extinction.
@manganeseblue - that is so upsetting to hear, I just can't understand how people can do that to such a bird close to extinction. The music is very beautiful, its a shame I cant have it on my ipod to listen to when I'm working but at least every time i want to hear it i get to watch this gorgeous video again. Its good to know there are others who love birds like i do.
Great video and great supporting music. As these birds seem to dance on the water, I'm imagining that this water is mighty hot. - and they're burning their feet. Is there a hot springs near by?
Thanks ...that was delightful!!!

Does anyone know the name of the music to this? I quite like it. Reminds me of Brolga courtship dancing, very beautiful

Reminds me it is about time to see what's new at the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, WI. A great place to visit and support.

That music makes it all very Lord of the Dance. I don't think I've seen anything like that before...good job!
