there is a difference between a magnum load and a standard load. It might be able to handle MAGNUM power levels (like loading a .45 colt to .44 magnum performance) but there is no .45 magnum round. Unless this gun is a .454, then there is no way a .454 Casull would fit properly in a .45 Colt gun. plus a .454 Casull round, even if you managed to get it in a .45 Colt, would likely blow the gun up...............

"Magnum" is nothing but a word...

45 colt has greater case capacity and can be loaded to match or exceed the power of a 44 mag. The 45 colt also has larger diameter bullets and can fit heavier bullets.

I have heard of 45 ACP, 45 Colt, 45 GAP, 454 Casull, and 44 Magnum. Never seen "45 Magnum" before.
