Well, it is known as the hardest criterium in North America, all because of this hill. The Nature Valley Grand Prix really is strong stage race, and having this on the last day makes it extremely suspensful.
I think only the first third is 24% with the last two thirds at 15% for the hill average at about 18%. On 6/14/09 Floyd Landis led a small break for many laps and they were flying up the hill in their BIG rings. Most impressive!

It's def not 24%. Cats hill is 23% and i have never seen anyone in a big chain ring there. no one. thats still a steep fuckin hill though
