listen to you guys loathe your failure, she's up there, in galleries, while your sitting at home not doing creating shi*.... the beauty of it is she created this whole new world for her and sharing it to whom have the moolah to buy it. quite cool
@jasonkm77 - haha-not jealous i wasnt even in her major when i went to school with her. more amused by the humbuggery contemporary art veil pulled over some eyes and its followers. illuminated when i took an elective class right alongside her in my undergrad its the same motor idling the same musings; sort of an exquisite cadaver of the mouth as logical as Arp's Untitled (Squares). its great and fine you enjoy those marks made on canvas you have bought into it - you need not defend anything j.
@pbradford021 If you've studied along side her you would know better than me if she's spinning her artistic wheels. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of her or the paintings(they're quite ugly) and don't feel comfortable defending her, so my initial reply was a bit reactionary(and harsh). I do find the idea of creating a world with characters(akin to a writer) to be a meritous approach to visual medium if done successfully. I don't know that her clunky brushwork and pastel palette are that, though.
Shut your face, pbradford. No one knows who you are (or me), so your dumb f%#kin' opinion don't count for sh%t, alright?
