Rhinohippo - We were the first company in the world to use inflatable kayaks and are still one of the only to focus on inflatable kayaks. We have tested most models on the market today and for class II, III, and pool drop class IV rivers we have found that our tahiti's, which are custom made for us, are still the most beginner friendly craft on the market. It is the fact that they are not as stiff which is their advantage. The softer material allows over the wave rides and more forgiveness.
What are you all using? I have a couple of Tahiti's a couple of Balis and an XK1. I love going down the Rogue and I am itching to start the season. :) Anytime someone comes up to visit I take an easy run from Ennis to Argo to give them a taste.
I own an orange torpedo. Easy to launch, easy to land, only costs $140, and I've taken it out over 30 times. Hasn't popped yet! Stuffs into a big backpack for the hike home. That damn thing has made the the fittest I've ever been in my entire life. Highly reccomended!
38 years of buisness and 0 head injuries. Helmets required on one river because of the low volume, but because there is no way you can be attached to the boat head injuries are not an issue on larger rivers.

stiffer inflatables have made these tahitis obsolete and they don't float heavier riders

There are a bunch of rapids in this video but the main one we show people running is a wave we call Mary's Pothole.

Thanks for the video seriously. I've been fretting over whether I could go down a class III river.
