mate this is some quality video footage!! a very well done! I just so happened to in Crewe town centre at the time and I managed to follow the smoke and get to it, I was lucky enough to have my camera on me aswell so I got quite a good few pictures!
I saw some smoke not long after it happened, but as I saw it from Tescos I just thought it was from the train yard. When I came out of Tescos I realised it was now around 100ft in the air!!
I was actually leaving Crewe at the time - even though my house is more that 600metres away from it so I wouldn't have been evacuated. But even quite a few miles down the road towards the M6 I could still see it in my rear view mirror!
Pity the fire didn't spread and burn the whole of Crewe down, fucking dump!

I could see the smoke on my way home from manchester, work in business park next to where it happened. Didnt get my car for a few days.
