I don't the answer is to boycott the area as it is a poor land and depends on this. There should be a diplomatic effort to get the children out of the factories! If this is taken away the country probably would starve and be much worse! I agree that the children should not be used however but what is the best way without making more harm?

The USA was built by slaves. There will always be slaves and sweat shop labor, since billionaires/millionaires can not retain their riches unless there are millions of people living below the poverty line. Ask the CEOs of The Gap, Nestle and others if they would take $12 million less pay per year so that the lowest paid third world laborers could make a decent wage. They would say NO. Sad but true.
