  • love this scene. hahahaha its the best.

  • I always wanted to ride that slide that Jessie goes down in the suitcase.

  • for me, the best moments of the toy story movies are the end of the thirt movie, two other scenes of toy story 3 (also the full scape from the «prision» and the final scenes of toy story 1. but in my opinion the best movie is clearly toy story 3 and also the one with more climax and dramatism.

  • LOL! Mr. Potato head crapped himself at 2:41

  • You don't know how much I love you right now ;)

  • damn slinky can strech far at 3:09 to 3:15

  • Even though Jim Varney can't exactely be replaced as the voice of Slinky Dog, You gotta admit Blake Clark did a great stand-in in Toy Story 3.

  • @nils920 It's true. I could barely tell the difference. What a gift.

Still though, I miss Jim Varney. Ernest needed a triumphant return of some sort.

  • I used to say that the best climax scene of all of the Toy Story movies was the one in the first movie, but watching this one again, I see a tie. ;) (Third one doesn't even get nominated in my book. What the hell were they thinking?)

Thank you for uploading this. It's a very exciting moment.

  • @GoldenFlither15

That was exactly why I uploaded it, when i was little i was always filled with excitement at this scene!

  • @kkdulla As was I. I love how it brought everything together so successfully while still keeping it fun and thrilling. And the Prospector's fate amused me. XD He got what he wanted, but not exactly what he planned. ;)

Funny, I always wondered what would've happened if the ring of Woody's pullstring hadn't slipped off at just the right moment.

  • @GoldenFlither15 same. i thought that too!

  • @GoldenFlither15

I forgot to mention You can download this (and any other youtube video) at icyvideo.com

  • @GoldenFlither15 ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Toy Story 3's climax was GOLDEN. One of the best animated scenes in HISTORY. LITERALLY. I can't believe you even said that...

  • @superduperm1 It was also frightening for a 'Toy Story' movie. Sure, I get that they made the movie for the folks that grew up with it, but I would've preferred something a little more family-friendly. My kids were crying, for heaven's sake. I was about to leave if I didn't care about the characters.

    Can you believe it now?

  • @GoldenFlither15 Frankly, I'm glad they got more daring. It brought on a touching moment, something every film like this needs.

But yes, I can see where you are coming from.

  • @superduperm1 I appreciate that, thank you.

And I can (somewhat) understand where you come from. I know they went for the more risqué and dramatic approach, which I can respect. I just think they chose the wrong place and franchise for it. To me, good risqué in a family film is small winks towards the adults. Not a whole climactic scene and epilogue. I think the threequel is going to age very fast because of the path they chose. It's not bad, it's just not "fun for the family" as these are.

  • Thank you again, by the way, for keeping an open mind. :) That's sadly rare with quite a few of the Pixar fans I've spoken to.

  • @GoldenFlither15 Were they crying because it traumatized them or because it was sad for them?

  • @Dollreviewz155 Both? I wouldn't know - at a young age, it's not exactly like we can tell. But I certainly know that I was traumatized. Just seeing such fun, colourful characters from one's childhood nearly... Ugh, I still hate to think about it. It was something right out of fanfiction (and I think that's why it gets defended so often by the die-hard fans; stuff like that is like chocolate to them).

  • @GoldenFlither15 I never read fanfiction lol.

I'm happy though that they made it more mature. It grows up with it's fans and this movie IS mainly for them. What this movie did was bring reality to it's viewers. And honestly, a bit of reality for children won't hurt them. Obviously it's best not to bring TOO much of reality to them all at once, but death is something they're aware of. This played it well. Accepting death knowing there is no way out.

  • @GoldenFlither15 Sorry but so what if they cried? Animated films shouldn't just be happy silly fun that only babies can enjoy. There should be some deep emotional moments which might stir up feelings inside people. The toys almost dying at the end of Toy Story 3 or the beginning of Up is no different to Bambi's mother getting shot or Mufasa's death.

  • @joevictor53 Oh, I ADORED the beginning of 'Up' (not so much the rest though). And those deaths fit the movies and what they were going for. I'm not against emotional moments at all - I still remember tearing up at 'Land Before Time' and getting drawn into 'Secret of NIMH'. But in the context of 'Toy Story', where the originals were such light-hearted, funny, feel-good movies...it was VERY weird to see that turned around so sharply. I just felt like they were taking themselves too seriously.

  • @GoldenFlither15 so getting saved from a flaming furnace wasn't enough for you ? well everyone have different tastes.

  • @blacklustersoldier95 That's very true: It's all subjective.

Though I don't understand what you meant with that first part. Not enough for me? It was too much if anything. For a "family film" especially.

  • @GoldenFlither15 well thats because Disney isn't always as sweet and innocent. I think the climax and ending of the 3rd movie was the best and it couldn't have been better.

  • @blacklustersoldier95 That's nice. I'm glad for you. I for on didn't like it. I find nearly burning Rex, Bullseye and Mrs. Potato Head alive a little scarring.

  • @GoldenFlither15 in response to toy story 3 they weren't thinking lol

  • @EvanVanEtten Hehe, no kidding. It's been a year and a half and I still haven't forgiven them.
