PEOPLE! CORALINE IS MADE BY HENRY SELICK AND NEIL GAIMAN, NOT TIM BURTON! Tim didn't have ANYTHING to do with this movie. His movies are indeed awesome, beautiful and poetic - But there are actually other people out there that can make such dark and yet happy movies. You understand that?!

...Please stop saying that this is Tim's movie. You guys mislead people AND stomp at the creators who actually made it.

I know, that's what I am confused about. Nightmare Before Christmas is thought to be Burton's creation. I have the feeling that Tim Burton designed the characters and came up with the general concept. I know that stop-motion animation is EXTREMELY laborus, and that Tim Burton became frustrated with that. I am guessing that Henry Selick sort of took over, as far as bringing the film to life as a whole, just my guess, but speaking of Tim Burton, I am going to watch "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" now :)

No, Henry Selick is, Burton had verry little to do with it and spent most of the production time on the other side of the country, it's always referd to as Burtons movie because the studio heads figured it would earn more money that way.

Selick got fucking gipped, he deserves so much more credit then he gets. The mans a genius.

actually all of those were burtons characters as was the story...burton did not know how to direct stop motion at the time...it snot like andy warhols frankensteen where his name is slapped on but burton played a major part on nightmare
