The so-called Dark Age, a term focused mainly on the wealthy (as much of history does), is total BS. Most ORDINARY Europeans went into the Dark Age as either slaves in the Roman Empire or subjects of European aristocrats and came out better educated with a firm belief in the Christian concept of equality. During that period, Europeans explorered much of the world and made great strides in human & civil rights, geography, science, medicine, and so on.

As for media bias, the distinctions you are unable to draw is that (1) CNN's bias is far greater than FOXs, and (2) FOX is only one network, whereas all other networks tilt so far left you can't watch them without turning your TV sideways. Try opening your eyes and looking around maybe you wont be blindsided by the obvious next time.

I'm sure most of these people do enjoy the free market and choose to watch/read other oulets that provide much better information and omit the bias.

However, there is another concern, which is, the media can become a major influence on those not as wise or the causual viewer. The result could be costly to everyone. Such as helping elect a president with, say, no experience and favoritism to socialist views. I hope that never happens to us.
