I may be wrong but did he mess the first recital up. Iv heard him go off beat and out of sync a few times. No way is he at the level of players like Anindo Chatterjee. No Way !

I have seen him in several concerts. He is a world-class tabla player. He does credit toh His Guruji's name and memory.

Pt. Kishan Maharajji was a saint. Helping his students and serving the cause of music was his life.

umm a harmonium is not silly

it is true i believe the sarangi is one of the most beautiful instruments but there is a reason why the harmonium is the main accompanying instrument

lol saw pinkyji play at darbar festival, wuz amazing. but then i saw Kumar Boseji play at the same performance. They both learnt from Kishen Maharaj but Pinky seems like a baby compared to Kumarji who is like an lion. His bayan n speed cannot be beaten.

Kumar Bose is quite a bit older than Pinky ji.

i like both pinky ji and kumar ji. I never compare them. Because they both have different style in sense of presentation. moreover pinky ji learnt from kishan maharaj ji quite more than kumar ji, because kumarji's learnt more from his father. Pinky ji you can say is more from kishan maharaj ji school
